According to Dr. Kwan, you don’t need a red light mask, but it can be a beneficial addition to your skincare routine.
While topicals such as peptides and retinol can deliver similar benefits, Dr. Kwan recommends “red light for those with sensitive skin who can’t tolerate some anti-aging topicals, or for people who already have a good skincare routine and want to boost it.”
