I love board games and play a lot of them, so every year I produce a seven-game roundup for folks to try based on some of my favorites from the previous 12 months. But this year, I’m treating you to some discounted classics that are not only great but cheaper than ever.

Among them is one of my new favorites: Flip 7, which is $7.97 at Walmart. While it isn’t discounted, this is such a low price to pay for a very good board game (well, card game) that I can’t recommend it. Then there's Codenames, the second edition is down $10 to $24.99 at Amazon. It’s the perfect game for groups of any size and a must-own title for everyone with a board game collection.

Today's best board game Black Friday deals in the US

That’s my selection of the best board game deals you can find this Black Friday!

These are just the deals I can see at big retailers, so your local game store might have other discounts running. Even if they aren’t quite as impressive discount-wise as what’s online, supporting your local store can be really worthwhile if they regularly run events and support your local gaming community.

Alternatively, you can check out my January 2025 and January 2024 gaming recommendation lists for other ideas, though I couldn’t spot deals for all these games (which is why I haven't included them in this list).
