The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt fans are on the edge of their seats this year with some very exciting rumors in the mix pertaining to an unconfirmed DLC that may or may not be in the works at CD Projekt Red. The hope is that players will get a story to bridge the gap between The Witcher 3 and The Witcher 4, which isn't slated to launch until next year at the earliest.

Geralt Is Back In A Huge Witcher Release This Month

Geralt is making an official return this March in the ongoing Dark Horse The Witcher collection, The Witcher Omnibus Volume 3. It's a massive volume of "three standalone comic stories following Geralt’s journey through new and familiar lands." The Omnibus collection includes the following Witcher content:

  • The Witcher: The Ballad of Two Wolves #1–#4
  • The Witcher: Wild Animals #1–#4
  • The Witcher: Corvo Bianco #1–#5
  • The 2023 Free Comic Book Day story “Frog Kiss”
  • A cover gallery and expanded sketchbook section

Each story is authored by Bartosz Sztybor, with various artists featured across the collection, including Miki Montllo, Nataliia Rerekina, and Corrado Mastantuono, as well as multiple talented colorists. The Witcher Omnibus Volume 3 is a whopping 368-page trade paperback edition slated to release on March 24 in local comic book stores and select online retailers, and will be listed for roughly $30 USD.

It's A Massive Collection Of Unique Witcher Tales

This Omnibus collection features three excellent stories in The Witcher universe following Geralt on all sorts of wild adventures. The Ballad of Two Wolves follows Geralt's investigation into a werewolf in the town of Grimmwald, while in Wild Animals he mediates a complex conflict between local hunters and a mysterious clan.

Corvo Bianco, on the other hand, is a unique story where Geralt attempts to settle into a peaceful life running his Toussaint vineyard with Yennefer, but their "days of leisure at the estate of Corvo Bianco are cut short when a noble makes a claim to the land." All three stories and the additional Frog Kiss short story are CD Projekt Red-licensed tales following The Witcher 3 universe continuity, and will be available in stores this week.
