Stacey Solomon and Alesha Dixon will be the new hosts of The Voice, according to reports.

The duo are said to be taking over from Emma Willis, 50, as she is set to host Strictly Come Dancing this autumn alongside Josh Widdicombe, and Johannes Radebe

Alesha, 47, will reportedly introduce performers on stage, while Stacey, 36, will talk to contestants behind-the-scenes.

They are said to have impressed ITV bosses with their chemistry when Stacey appeared as a guest judge on Britain's Got Talent.

'Alesha found Stacey hilarious when she stood in for Simon on BGT – they got on like a house on fire. They are the perfect choice for The Voice because they have so much experience between them,' a source told The Mirror

'Alesha is a pop star and TV judge on a hit Saturday night show, and Stacey found fame thanks to the X Factor and is now a TV presenter on Sort Your Life Out, where her empathy with people is off the chart.

'They have brilliant energy together and are buzzing to take on The Voice UK. Everyone is really excited.'

The Daily Mail has contacted ITV for comment.

Emma, who has fronted the show for 12 years, hasn't officially announced she is departing The Voice, but sources say she has 'accepted her time on the show is over'.

With both shows airing in autumn, there would be a Saturday night schedule clash on rival networks.

An insider previously told The Sun: 'It will come as no surprise that whispers have already begun to emerge on both the future of Emma’s role on The Voice and the show itself.

'The truth is, she wasn’t even thinking about The Voice when it came to accepting the job on Strictly – she has been super open behind-the-scenes how it was her dream gig.'

Coaches Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones are joined by global superstar Kelly Rowland, who is set to bring fresh energy and fierce competition to the mix.

Emma said of Kelly joining the team: 'We’re back. Kelly Rowland has joined us and she’s just incredible. She’s everything you’d want from a coach.

'I was in awe of her! Then we’ve got the other brilliant coaches who work so well together. I think every series we get more and more out of them and their dynamic.

'Then of course, we’ve got all the things that everyone knows and loves about The Voice UK.'

The Voice UK airs Saturdays from August 22, 7pm on ITV1, ITVX, STV & STV Player.
