Whether you happen to be traveling to Las Vegas while the Backstreet Boys are performing or are headed there deliberately to catch the Into the Millennium tour live at The Sphere, I highly recommend it. The 21-show residency features all the boy band's greatest hits: "Larger Than Life," "I Want It That Way," "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)," plus a bonus new song you can only hear in-show (for now). Yes, the Backstreet Boys are back — but The Sphere isn't exactly a short drive for most people. It takes planning and effort, all the stuff you typically don't want to do. That's why I put together this guide: so you can focus on feeling confident and letting loose, and less on logistics.

How Long Is the Backstreet Boys Residency at The Sphere?

The Backstreet Boys residency at The Sphere started on July 11 and continues until August 24 — but don't worry! The show is so popular that seven new dates have been added from December 26 to January 3, 2026, so you can still get in on the action. Tickets go on sale for the general public on Aug. 22 at 12 p.m. ET (9 a.m. PT). Pre-sale is happening now through these dates.

Where Should I Stay to See the Backstreet Boys at The Sphere?

I stayed at The Venetian Resort on the Las Vegas Strip, which features gorgeous suite-only accommodations, a casino, entertainment (I opted for a magic show), more than 40 restaurants, shopping, spas, a rooftop pool, and even gondola rides "under the stars." Yes, you're basically transported to Venice inside the resort. All of this to say, the experience was pretty magical (no pun intended).

However, the most important thing to note is that The Venetian Resort is connected to The Sphere — yes, you read that correctly. All you have to do is walk through a connected pedestrian bridge, and you're there. It was no-sweat and definitely convenient. The Venetian also hosts The Backstreet Boys Terminal, which is the official gift shop for fans, as well as the official after-party at Voltaire (a club inside the resort), where fans can meet the band.

If you're thinking about staying here, it's important to note: as of January, World of Hyatt Credit Cardmembers can earn and redeem points at The Venetian. Not a cardmember? If you sign up now, you can earn two free nights plus 25,000 points. If you travel often, I highly recommend it — especially if you plan to see the Backstreet Boys this December. What Is the Backstreet Boys Dress Code at The Sphere?

The band's specific request is that fans wear all white with a touch of blue as a nod to the Into the Millennium tour. This has resulted in lots of white-on-white outfits, butterfly clips, chokers, and blue eyeshadow — and yes, we have some suggestions for you.

Keep reading to see my packing list for the Backstreet Boys concert that meets the dress code as well as The Sphere's bag policy.

Roll-On Holographic Body Glitter

Hosaily Roll-on Holographic Body Glitter ($7, originally $8)

Remember dousing yourself in body glitter before a big dance, sporting event, or even just a regular school day? Body glitter, especially roll-on, was a very big part of my childhood, and it makes the perfect finishing touch for a Backstreet Boys show. Fans were glistening in the crowd, and I was actually so jealous I didn't have any. If I were to go back, I'd 100 percent purchase this.

Temporary Tattoos

Hohamn 120 Pcs Glitter Galaxy Temporary Tattoos ($7)

They're not strictly necessary, but temporary tattoos are a fun addition that I noticed a few fans wearing. I especially loved space-themed ones like these. If you're unsure how to add a touch of blue, consider a rocket ship or a blue astronaut. They're perfectly on theme and incredibly cute, too.

Butterfly Hair Claw Clips

Jasverlin Glitter Mini Butterfly Hair Claw Clips ($8)

Nothing says early aughts like butterfly clips, and they were everywhere at the Backstreet Boys show. I popped a few into the front of my hair for a little throwback moment, but fans really went all out with space buns and braided looks — total Y2K energy. The best part? You don't have to hunt them down at Claire's anymore, just grab a pack on Amazon and relive your teen-dream era with two-day shipping.

A Viral Tank Top

Hanes Ecosmart Cotton Tank ($9, originally $11)

I was heavily influenced by Kendall Jenner's viral Hanes tank and can attest to its versatility. I've worn it lounging around the house, out to dinner, and now to a Backstreet Boys concert. I seriously love it, and it's especially great for layering when you want that early-aughts vibe. Keep in mind that this is a boys' tank, so I went with an XL for the size. It fit a little big (a large would've been perfect), but it still worked out just fine for my 'fit. Read my Hanes Ecosmart Cotton Tank review.

Editor Quote: "Aside from the unbeatable price, there's honestly a lot to love about this ribbed white tank. For starters, the cut does something my usual tanks just don't. That swooped neckline? It somehow makes the whole thing look effortlessly chic. Plus, it goes with anything. Sweatpants? Definitely. Denim shorts? Obviously. A skirt and some jewelry? Absolutely. Case in point: Jenner styled hers with leather pants, and it looks totally high fashion." — Haley Lyndes, assistant shopping editor

Y2K Sunglasses

knliwkm Rimless Rectangle Sunglasses ($15)

Yup, everyone was rocking these rectangular sunglasses — the same style the Backstreet Boys themselves have worn. I personally loved the pair with the butterfly detail (very Y2K), and the light blue lenses instead of dark ones are a nice touch, so you can actually see. Trust me, you'll want to take in every visual The Sphere has to offer.

A Choker Necklace

BodyJ4You 12PC Tattoo Choker Necklace ($20)

Choker necklaces were everywhere — including on me. I went with a white one, but plenty of fans used theirs as their touch of blue. However you choose to wear it — on your neck, wrist, or even leg — chokers were giving total early-2000s nostalgia. Honestly, I felt like I was getting ready for a middle school dance all over again.

A Clear Bag

Y&R Direct Clear Bag Purse ($24)

The Sphere has a strict bag policy. It's called a "no bag policy," though that's not entirely accurate — you can bring a bag inside. The rule mainly restricts large bags and backpacks. Only small clutches, purses, or fanny packs, roughly 6 x 6 x 2 inches, are allowed. That "roughly" is key: as long as your bag is close to that size, you'll likely be fine — they're definitely not measuring down to the millimeter. That said, finding a bag that small is surprisingly tricky. For example, this crossbody measures 8.3 x 4.9 x 3.3 inches. Its length is just slightly over the limit, but it would still be allowed.

A Strappy Tank Top

Carbon38 Strappy Tank in Melt ($108)

This tank top has to be one of my favorite purchases ever. I wear it all the time — the material is buttery soft, and the cut is so flattering. The fact that I've owned it for two years without a single stain on its gorgeous white fabric is kind of crazy, but that just shows how much I value it. It made the perfect layering piece under my Hanes tank for the concert, and the built-in bra is such a nice touch. That said, you'll get plenty of wear out of this top on its own, too.

Comfortable Sneakers

New Balance 9060 Sneakers ($150)

I've had my New Balance 9060s for a while now and take great care of them because I love them that much. To me, they felt like the perfect choice for the "Into the Millennium tour": sleek, space-inspired, and just a little intergalactic. While they don't feature a pop of blue, they still fit the aesthetic perfectly. The tour's whole theme was futuristic — hence the name — so the sneakers felt right on brand (and, of course, incredibly comfortable).

A Comfortable Pant

J.Crew Cosmo Pant ($158)

Funny enough, I actually wore pajama pants that are no longer available to shop (sad), but these ones from J.Crew are very similar — both in material and look — and would be a great alternative if you're going for a style like mine. I personally loved wearing a comfortable, lightweight pair of pants to the show (we're in Vegas, after all). You can even grab them in ivory, too. If you're looking for another pair of pants to wear, cargo pants were another popular pick.
