Scott McCristal may like flaunting his wealth, but not everyone was impressed during Tuesday's episode of Married At First Sight.

The 33-year-old Queensland businessman was shown roaring down the street in his Lamborghini while he boasted about 'living in the fast lane'.

As he drove by, a furious grandmother was shown looking decidedly displeased as she walked her dog on the nearby grass.

The grandma flipped the bird at Scott, and appeared to be utterly fuming.

However, Daily Mail can reveal that the hilarious moment was staged for the cameras.

The unnamed nan was passing by the camera crew when she was spotted by producers, a source revealed, and asked to take part in filming.

For her trouble, the elderly woman was paid just $50 and asked to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) to appear on the reality TV juggernaut, the source says.

Fans tuning in loved the cheeky display, with several sharing their thoughts on the official MAFS page on social media.

'The grandma!' enthused one person, alongside a series of laughing emojis, while another added, 'The granny saying what we were all thinking'.

Scott married Gia Fleur during Tuesday night's episode.

Things went from bad to worse as the 35-year-old disability worker flew off the handle and started swearing during the ceremony.

'I've got on f***ing heels,' a furious Gia said as she walked down the beachside aisle to meet Scott at the altar, frustrated by her inappropriate attire.

She then took her heels off so she could walk on the sand, screaming out 'oh s**t' in frustration.

Fortunately, the ceremony went off without a hitch from that point on, with Gia cheekily flashing her undies at Scott during the heartfelt occasion.

MAFS 2026 returned to television screens on Monday night, and the show wasted no time plunging right into controversy.

Married At First Sight has always thrived on chaos, but Channel Nine's 2026 season is already shaping up to be one of the most volatile in the show's history.

'Production has every reason to be p**sed off,' one insider told Daily Mail.

'The night in question completely blew up, cast members disappeared, fights broke out and one couple is already in turmoil.'

It follows last season's curfew crackdown, which saw contestants ordered back to their apartments by 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekends.

Those times were reportedly tightened again after complaints the cast had become 'disrespectful' and 'selfish' for vanishing mid-shoot.

An explosive leaked email from production expressed 'utter disappointment' in the cast's disregard for crew.

They warned hotel keycards would be deactivated after curfew unless an associate producer was informed.

Married At First Sight continues Wednesday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
