The Traitors USfans are reacting to the first three episodes of the series, which added two shocking reality TV legends to the cast in a surprise twist during the competition’s second episode. Throughout the first episodes of The Traitors season 3, viewers have gotten to know the new cast of reality TV and entertainment personalities who will be competing in the deceptive game. While the cast members were quickly faced with a choice to let Survivor legend “Boston” Rob Mariano into the game, it wasn’t until the second episode that they met all the competitors they’d be playing with.
During the second episode of The Traitors US, Rob was brought back into the game after a unanimous vote to keep him out of the castle, but host Alan Cumming wasn’t done creating chaos. Bringing The Challenge star Wes Bergmann and Big Brother legend Derrick Levasseur into The Traitorsto play as well, viewers were floored to see the unannounced cast members. Reddit user u/Pure_Investigator413shared that they were “beyond impressed with Rob” while others explained “Derrick is already on to the fact that either Rob or Wes has to be a traitor,” but feel they’re providing entertainment.

Although some aren’t thrilled about the addition of two more guys in the castle, The Challenge’s Wes and Big Brother’s Derrick are two of the most strategically-minded reality TV competitors. While Derrick hasn’t been part of a strategy game since his historic run on Big Brother 16, which won him the game sitting next to The Traitors season 1’s Cody Calafiore, his appearance on The Traitors will afford him another opportunity to hone his reality TV strategy skills. Wes, on the other hand, has appeared on 16 seasons of The Challenge, though he retired after The Challenge: USA season 2.

Wes and Derrick entering the game alongside Boston Rob was an interesting choice, and the reveal wasn’t something The Traitors US season 3’s cast members were happy about. While the Faithful felt certain that at least one if not more were Traitors, the Traitors were wary of the new players after finally discovering who was part of their group the night prior. While Wes and Derrick are both currently playing the game as Faithfuls, Boston Rob came into the game as a Traitor, which could create issues with their quickly formed alliance before the rest of the cast discovered them.

Although some aren’t happy about the former Big Brother and The Challenge winners coming into the game, it’s a move that shifted the tone of an already chaotic cast of players. With the players entering the game late, the addition of two reality TV legends could cause some major issues for the players already in the game. With Wes, Derrick, and Boston Rob escaping any call outs at their first round tables, the cast may not be suspicious of the late entries, but it’s only a matter of time before their reality experience causes issues for The Traitors players.
