The secret Lauren Sanchez dating agency: How Bezos' wife is matchmaking Hollywood stars, politicians and billionaires... and the strict age, weight criteria Brooks Nader gave her (Tom Brady look away now!)

Brooks Nader can't wait to be Mrs Egerton - and she has an unlikely matchmaker to thank.

On paper, the 29-year-old It Girl model from Louisiana should never have met Welsh BAFTA winner Taron Egerton, 36. They surely have little in common - yet the pair have enjoyed a recent string of steamy dates at Los Angeles hotspots, and were even caught practically devouring each other on the beach in Santa Monica this past weekend.

Now, the Daily Mail can exclusively reveal that none other than Lauren Sanchez has been the driving force behind this most unlikely, blossoming new romance.

Nader has appeared to enjoy a handful of dalliances with famous faces of late, including recent divorcees Tom Brady, 48, and Kevin Costner, 71. None of them have been successful or long-lasting.

That was until Sanchez stepped in.

As half of one of the world's biggest power couples alongside her multi-billionaire second husband Jeff Bezos, 56-year-old Sanchez has now fashioned herself as something of a Hollywood fairy godmother, with her ranks of new celebrity friends flocking to the glamorous former journalist in the hope of finding love.

Most notably, Sanchez reportedly set pop-star pal Katy Perry up with former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau after the singer broke up with her longtime partner, actor Orlando Bloom, last year. 

'Everyone these days goes to Lauren, she is like a matchmaker now because, between her friends and Jeff's friends, they know a ton of eligible bachelors and they are cool, they will introduce people for sure,' an inside source told the Daily Mail.

Of the new Nader-Egerton love match, the source added: 'Brooks told her good pal Lauren to set her up with a cute guy. So Lauren was like, what about Taron? Brooks flipped because he's so hot and talented, she was like yes, yes, yes.'

In fact, so excited was Nader that she is said to have told another friend: 'I wanna be Brooks Egerton one day.'

Nader - who is currently turning her hand to acting and filming for the anticipated Baywatch reboot - first met the Rocketman actor at Sanchez and Bezos' multi-day wedding extravaganza in Venice, Italy last June. 

'Brooks and Taron talked at Lauren and Jeff's wedding. She met everyone there,' our source said.

But it is understood that they only recently started dating after Sanchez organized a more formal introduction.

'Brooks is over the moon, she thinks he is amazing, not just because he's cute and famous and all that, but also because he's super nice with good manners, he treats her well,' our source continued.

'Brooks has been wanting to meet a celebrity for a very long time, she wanted to be in a power couple.

'At first she thought a billionaire businessman would be good for her, but those types are super demanding, so she started thinking maybe an actor.'

As to how things are going between the new couple, our source said: 'Brooks does not want to make any bets yet or talk about it too much because she doesn't want to jinx the relationship, but she is super happy and feels lucky to have met him.

'She thinks being in a celebrity couple is awesome because it gives her a certain cache. It adds to her star power.' 

But, our source insists, it isn't all about public image: 'She is a nice girl, she deserves to be in love, she works hard at her career and could use some fun on the side. She is not a climber, she keeps it real.'

It also helps that he is not too much older: 36 to her 29 years.

'She didn't want a totally older dude with flab, that is no fun,' said our source.

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Nader, Egerton and Sanchez for comment. 

Egerton briefly dated actress Chloe Bennett from December 2024 until June last year.

Before that he was in a long-term relationship with actress Emily Thomas from 2016 until 2022. After their split, he allegedly signed up to celebrity dating app Raya.

For her part, Nader on-off dated her Dancing With The Stars pro partner Gleb Savchenko from September 2024 until an extremely messy final split in April 2025.

She has also been linked to supermodel Gisele Bundchen's ex-husband Tom Brady, Yellowstone icon Kevin Costner, and even Prince Constantine-Alexios of Greece and Denmark.

Nader was married advertising exec William Haire at the tender age of 22 in 2019. They split in 2022.
