The Pussycat Dolls are back! Ashley Roberts, Nicole Scherzinger and Kimberly Wyatt return as they announce huge global tour and drop a new single 16 years after splitting

The Pussycat Dolls have officially announced that they are back together after 16 years and are set to head on a huge global tour later this year.

Despite previously being a six piece band, the girls are reuniting as a trio with Ashley Roberts, Nicole Scherzinger and Kimberly Wyatt prepare to head out on a massive 53-date run across the UK, Europe and North America. 

The iconic band are set to drop their first single in six years, Club Song, which has been produced and co-written by Mike Sabath, who has worked on hits with Raye and Jade Thirlwall.

Despite the comeback news, original members Carmit Bachar, 51, Jessica Sutta, 43, and Melody Thornton, 41, are reportedly not expected to return. 

The new song reportedly opens with the trio harmonising as they sing: 'Don’t bring you boyfriend to the club'. 

As Nicole confirms: 'PCD, baby – we’re back!'

Tickets for the upcoming highly-anticipated tour in the UK and Europe will be available from Wednesday, March 18th for pre-sale and general sale begins on Friday, March 20. 

Over two decades after they burst onto the music scene, The Pussycat Dolls still looked more incredible than ever as they posed for a new sizzling photoshoot to promote their exciting news. 

In photos obtained by The Sun, Nicole showed off her jaw-dropping figure in a black cut out bodysuit and thigh high boots.

Meanwhile Kimberley wowed in a daring extremely plunging black bodysuit and lace up boots while Ashley put on a very leggy display in a one-legged catsuit and heels. 

The Pussycat Dolls are also celebrating the 20th anniversary since the release of their debut album, PCD. 

Earlier in the day, Nicola, Ashley and Kimberley were spotted departing BBC TV center in London after pre-recording a secret interview. 

Nicole turned heads in a stylish blazer and leather trousers while Kimberley looked stylish in a cropped blazer and jeans. 

But it was Ashley that stole the show as she used the sidewalk as her runway in a daring pinstriped shirt dress. 

The Heart Breakfast host put on a very leggy display in black stilettos and tights as she flashed a smile while heading to a waiting car.  

Speculation of a comeback first started when the trio were spotted enjoying a night out together at swanky restaurant Gaia in London's Mayfair last month. 

Back in 2020, the group were forced to cancel their reunion tour due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

At the time, Ashley told fans she was 'sad' and 'gutted' after the long-awaited shows were postponed before being scrapped entirely following setbacks and disagreements within the group. 

However, it has now been reported that the trio are moving forward after reaching an out-of-court settlement last year. 

A source told The Sun: 'Nicole and the girls have been talking about getting Pussycat Dolls back together for months now.

'Covid scuppered the original plan and then disagreements behind the scenes meant it all fell apart. But Nicole, Ashley and Kimberly are a solid unit and they’re raring to go.'

The insider added that the trio were set to meet in London to iron out the finer details and toast their deal, with an announcement expected in the coming weeks. 

They reportedly signed with top touring agency CAA in December to guide the comeback.

Nicole previously teased a reunion last year when she wore a chunky gold chain emblazoned with the group's name in a photoshoot. 

The iconic girl group - originally made up of Nicole, Melody Thornton, Kaya Jones, Carmit Bachar, Ashley, Jessica Sutta and Kimberly - disbanded in 2010 after releasing two hit albums, PCD (2005) and Doll Domination (2008). 

Plans for a reunion in 2020 were derailed by the pandemic, while a legal dispute between founder Robin Antin and Nicole later emerged over the cancelled tour.
