Renowned Australian supermodel Elle Macpherson is well known for her age-defying figure and glowing complexion.

And fans will be thrilled to learn that the one product she swears by to maintain her radiant glow and toned physique is currently on offer for £51.75 - but it's selling fast on her brand's website.

WelleCo, founded in 2014 by the 62-year-old model, is a premium wellness brand specialising in plant-based, wholefood-derived supplements.

Elle launched the brand as she approached her 50s, aiming to share the nutritional routine that helped boost her health and energy levels as she transitioned from her career as 'The Body' into holistic wellness.

She now swears by taking The Super Elixir daily, an all-in-one greens powder packed with more than 40 ingredients designed to support energy, gut health and skin.

Priced at £51.75 if you subscribe for a monthly subscription, the supplement comes in five award-winning flavours, including Original, Mixed Berry, Blood Orange, Lemon and Ginger, and an unflavoured option.

The formula is designed to provide a convenient daily addition to your routine - without the typical bitter greens taste.

The supplement also aims to support normal energy production, digestive function, cognitive performance, and the maintenance of healthy hair, skin and nails, all the while being vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free, with no artificial colours or added sugar.

More than a decade ago, Elle sought help from Dr Simoné Laubscher at her Harley Street clinic in London after struggling with bloating and low energy.

As she approached 50, the Australian model was no longer feeling like herself, knowing something needed to change.

Dr Laubscher told Daily Mail Australia she was stunned to see just how dry Elle's skin was when she entered her office, and that although she was 'skinny', she had a 'little bloated belly'.

The naturopath and nutritionist formulated an anti-inflammatory diet for her, and a month later, Dr Laubscher said she returned 'a different person'.

'She walked into my office on Harley Street with all these shopping bags, and she was glowing, and I thought yes, girlfriend, that's the Elle I know,' she said.

The Sydney-born model then set up her supplement company WelleCo, which Dr Laubscher formulates.

The nutritionist said she began formulating super greens for Elle before she created the company, so it was a match made in heaven.

Before seeking her help, Dr Laubscher said Elle was addicted to caffeine and sugar and had a lot of inflammation due to a leaky gut.

Leaky gut syndrome is a medically unrecognised condition in which the intestines become torn, so partially digested foods, toxins, and bugs leak into the bloodstream.

It can cause symptoms such as bloating, gas, cramps, food sensitivities, and aches and pains.

Elle has now healed her gut by taking WelleCo's Super Elixir supplement every day, following a mostly plant-based diet with small amounts of fish, and eating minimal sugar and caffeine.

'She came to me over 10 years ago, and we put her on a nutritional plan to make her well,' Dr Laubscher explained.

'So as a naturopath, we gave her a core eating plan. She wakes up and breaks her fast with my wellness water (water and lemon). A lot of people are drinking enough water, but they’re not hydrating well enough.

'She will then take her nourishing protein powder or the Super Elixir (daily greens).

'For lunch, she has a big superfood salad with some avocado, beetroot, nuts, and then she will have a warm meal in the evening, she will try not to have anything raw.

'She sometimes has small wild fish, and she is careful where they come from.'

'Elle has a chef, but it’s hard to be vegan and get the right amino acids, so she will eat fish, but not every day.'

Dr Laubscher said her number one tip for people looking to eat like Elle is to cut out non-organic products.

The supermodel eats organic food '100 percent' of the time, and while she used to be addicted to sugar, she no longer craves it and has cut out junk food completely.
