A cinematic obsessive with the filmic palate of a starving raccoon, Rob London will watch pretty much anything once. With a mind like a steel trap, he's an endless fount of movie and TV trivia, borne from a misspent youth of watching monster movies on TV, perusing the sun-faded goods at the local video rental shop, and staining his fingers with ink from the Video Movie Guide. Areas of interest include science fiction, film noir, horror flicks, '70s disaster pictures, Bond movies, '90s action, giant robots, dinosaurs, super heroes, and the exuberantly schlocky output of Cannon Films. He also enjoys both Star Trek and Star Wars when they're good, and maybe even more when they're bad. As a Canadian, he also has a vested interest in Canadian movies and TV shows, especially the cheesier ones dubbed "Canuxploitation."

An expert on Marvel Comics, he has also written for the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe, and is a member of the Marvel Research Team. He can frequently be found pontificating on comic-book continuity or bemoaning the misfortunes of the Toronto Maple Leafs on his Twitter account.

The Mandalorian and Grogu is the first new Star Wars movie to hit theaters in seven years, and Funko is about to send you on the bounty hunt for a new collection of its ever-popular Pop collectible figures to tie in with the movie. The new collection includes several figures of the title pair, as well as an old friend for fans of the animated series Star Wars: Rebels. They'll be available for preorder Saturday, February 14, well in advance of The Mandalorian and Grogu making its theatrical debut on May 22, 2026, but today, Collider is thrilled to bring you an exclusive first look at the new collection.

The nine-item collection features new Funkos of the titular Mandalorian (with a miniature Grogu), as well as three new Funkos of the ever-lovable and toyetic Grogu; you can get him in his hovering pram, with his mudhorn-emblazoned Mandalorian armor chest plate, or enjoying a snack. The collection also includes figures of an Imperial Remnant Stormtrooper, a Mercenary Guard Droid (who looks to be a repurposed Clone Wars-era Trade Federation Battle Droid), and Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios, an alien Lasat who fights with the Rebels. The latter originated in the CG-animated Rebels series, and was first seen in live-action in "The Pirate," a third-season episode of The Mandalorian. The collection also includes two new entries in Funko's Rides Deluxe line; the Mandalorian's late, lamented starship, the Razor Crest, comes with Zeb, while the Mandalorian and Grogu will come with an Imperial Remnant AT-ST walker. They'll all go up for presale on Saturday, February 14; the standard Pops will retail for $14.99 USD, while the Rides Deluxe will go for $29.99.

What Do We Know About 'The Mandalorian and Grogu'?

When last we saw Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his youthful ward, they'd retired to a quiet life after vanquishing their foe, Moff Gideon. However, they're going to be drawn back into action by the New Republic to take on the forces of evil once more. The forces of good include Rebel leader Ward (Sigourney Weaver) and pilot Trapper Wolf (Dave Filoni), while evil will take the shape of an Imperial warlord (Jonny Coyne) and Rotta the Hutt (Jeremy Allen White), the surprisingly swole son of Jabba the Hutt.

The Mandalorian and Grogu is the first theatrical Star Wars film since The Rise of Skywalker hit theaters in 2019. It is directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man), who created the TV series; he also co-wrote the film with Filoni.

Funko's new The Mandalorian and Grogu Pops will be available for preorder Saturday, February 14. The Mandalorian and Grogu opens in theaters on May 22, 2026. Stay tuned to Collider for future updates.
