‘The Masked Singer’s’ Most Shocking Reveals That Made Fans' Jaws Drop

Wasp, Strawberry Shortcake and Buffalos were all facing a potential breakup with The Masked Singer during the Dec. 11 semi-finals.

But unfortunately, it was Strawberry Shortcake who fell just, well, short of making it to next week's season finale after she was eliminated.

Before taking the stage to perform a powerful cover of Selena Gomez's "Lose You to Love Me," the mystery celebrity reflected on her emotional journey on the series.

"This season's competition has been no cake walk," Strawberry Shortcake admitted. "What no one tells you is that, like a good cake, Hollywood is layered. Sure, it sparkles and is super fun, but there's also so much pressure to make it big and it comes with a lot of rejection. A little bit of self-doubt and a dash of feeling like you've poured your whole heart into something people might not ever see. That's why I think so many people start to feel disenchanted with their dreams. That's what happened to me."

She went on to reveal what led to her leaving Hollywood.

"I was so triggered by the trauma of early fame that I decided to take a long break," the star continued. "I had to lose the lights to love what I do again. Becoming Strawberry Shortcake, I'm reminded of why I started this all of these years ago. It's fun, it's silly and it's so me."

"This experience has been so delicious," Strawberry Shortcake concluded. "I don't want it to end. Strawberry Shortcake is with me for life."

During the elimination, Wasp was saved by the judges, forcing Strawberry Shortcake to go head-to-head with Buffalos in a face-off performance of One Republic's "Counting Stars." However, Buffalos came out on top, sending her home.

When it came to the judges' guesses about Strawberry Shortcake's true identity, Robin Thicke doubled down on Kelsea Ballerini, Jenny McCarthy chose Sarah Hyland and Ken Jeong picked Joey King.

As for which former Disney star was behind the mask? AJ Michalka, the Cow Belles actress and Aly & AJ bandmate.
