‘The Masked Singer’ Says Goodbye to ‘Real Housewives’ Star in Tear-Jerking Reveal

High Voltage won't be taking home this championship trophy.

The Masked Singer season 14 contestant was eliminated during the Fox singing competition series' March 11 episode, revealing a former professional soccer player was behind the electrifying costume.

As for which sports star turned commentator didn't make the cut following their latest vocal performance, it was none other than former L.A. Galaxy centre-back and current Fox Sports analyst Alexi Lalas.

Before his big reveal, the mystery celebrity hinted that his costume held the key to unlocking his true identity.

"I feel super charged," High Voltage told the judges. "But panel, you're still totally in the dark, so here's something to shock you. And I'm talking to you, Rita [Ora]. Yeah, you, because, spoiler alert, the biggest clue has been right in front of your face the whole time. Don't be grumpy, I'm just stating the obvious. Now check out this colossal clue."

He then teased fans with a man dressed in pink riding a horse. The clue made Rita think of Cowboys, to which Jenny McCarthy pointed out. "It's a football team."

However, no one zeroed in on the fact that High Voltage's costume literally had a soccer ball for a head.

After performing a cover of Daniel Powter's "Bad Day" during Care Bears Night, High Voltage received some kind words from the panel.

As Rita gushed, "You are just such a joy and honestly you have been sending currents throughout this whole season."

But the 55-year-old had one more clue in store: "Well, detectives, I love me a little country, I know how to make an entrance and I've been feeling 22 for a long time."

Not picking up on the clue about Alexi's U.S. Men’s National Team number, Robin Thicke ultimately guessed he was Tom Brady, Jenny picked fellow Patriots alum Julian Edelman, Ken Jeong argued it was Travis Kelce and Rita landed on Jason Sudeikis. So, the judges were totally shocked when the athlete finally revealed himself. Although, as Alexi pointed out, there was a soccer ball on his head the entire time.

“By the way,” the Olympian joked during his send-off, “I’m so sorry I’m not Tom Brady.”

And while he stumped the judges, Alexi had an incredible time flexing a different muscle on the show.

“I grew up playing in garage bands and then singing in chamber singers,” he shared. “And so while I was doing sports, music was a huge part of my life. And this is so much more than music, by the way. This is so much more than singing.”

And how did being on The Masked Singer compare to playing in the World Cup?

“Well, I gotta tell you, I think that I sweat more in this than I ever sweated on the soccer [field],” he laughed. “I got sweat in places, ladies and gentlemen, that you do not wanna see.”
