The Lincoln Lawyer scores a major victory as it receives a season 5 renewal before season 4 has even debuted.
While The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 doesn't drop until February 5, 2026, Netflix has already secured another installment of the legal drama. Season 5 will have 10 episodes and is based on Michael Connelly's book, Resurrection Walk, the seventh novel in his Lincoln Lawyer series.
The series focuses on the story of Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), a lawyer in Los Angeles who is starting over after a battle against addiction. While he is able to recover more of what he lost through his strong work ethic and determination, the people in his life also play a crucial role in his success. He is supported by his driver, Izzy (Jazz Raycole), his ex-wives Maggie (Neve Campbell) and Lorna (Becki Newton), as well as the latter's fiancé, Cisco (Angus Sampson).
The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 will adapt The Law of Innocence, the sixth book in Connelly’s series. It will also introduce a lot of characters. The new cast consists of Cobie Smulders, Krista Warner, Elliott Gould, Jason O’Mara, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Marcus Henderson, Gigi Zumbado, Scott Lawrence, Lana Parrilla, Sasha Alexander, Kacey Montoya, Jason Butler Harner, Javon Johnson, Kyle Richards, and Nancy Silverton.
The Lincoln Lawyer's showrunners and executive producers, Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez, expressed excitement about both the upcoming season and the renewal in a joint statement. They explained that Haller is about to enter one of "the most challenging and intensely personal" stages of his life. They added that they are fully committed to doing the story and character justice in the upcoming chapters of the TV show.
