The next game in the series hasn't been announced yet, so we're not really sure what the plan is at the time of writing. That said, if we are leaving the Wilds era behind entirely, then it's well worth marking their period of relevance on more time, and a new set of physical releases could be the perfect way to do just that.
The Legend Of Zelda Isn't Finished With The Wilds Era
As first reported by Gamesradar+, Hasbro has revealed its first Legend of Zelda action figures, bringing Tears of the Kingdom back in a big way with each character's appearance in those games. There are three confirmed figures for sale so far, with Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf getting renditions at six-inch scale (though it's worth noting the latter is considerably larger).
The Link figure comes with Hylian shield, interchangeable Zonai power hand, and Master Sword, as well as 20+ points of articulation for solid customization options. Equally, Zelda's rendition includes Decayed Master Sword hilt and interchangeable sword grip hand, while Ganondorf gets the Gloom Sword, scabbard, and an interchangeable sword grip hand as well.
The Zelda and Link figures both stand at six inches tall in this scale, and you can pre-order both of them now for a genuinely reasonable $27.99. Ganondorf has been kept to the same scale, but his relative size means he is around 7.5 inches tall, and that extra material means it will set you back $42.99.
As mentioned previously, these figures aren't out yet, with shipping expected to go ahead approximately around June 1, 2027, assuming there are no major delays or supply issues for Hasbro along the way.
By the time those figures come around, we will likely already have been able to explore the Ocarina of Time Remake in its entirety, and that could signal the cue for Nintendo to tell us what's coming for The Legend of Zelda next. With most expecting some kind of release next year, it would be a big surprise if we haven't heard anything about it by the time the above physical release comes along.
