Though it does seem like everyone is ready to move on and see what's coming up next for The Legend of Zelda as a series, there's no doubt that the Wilds era has been a brilliant time. Both of the games we've played during this period have been genuine all-time contenders, and it will certainly be a shame to leave them behind.
That said, beyond the Ocarina of Time Remake, we really don't know what Nintendo wants to do next, and it may well be that the next game isn't as stark of a departure as some are expecting. If it is, though, it will be nice to say goodbye to that time in our lives in style, and a new set of physical releases could be the perfect way to do just that.

Over on the Hasbro Pulse website, you should be able to fing the product listing for The Legend of Zelda Heroes of Hyrule Princess Zelda, a new action figure that draws inspiration from the character's appearance in Tears of the Kingdom.
The figure clocks in at a relatively diminutive 15cm tall, so you won't need to make too much room if you do plan on buying it, and it's also highly customizable if you do take it out of the box. Hasbro published a list of features that fans can expect from the model, saying:
- This officially licensed collectible Princess Zelda figure features sculpt and design inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
- 15 cm scale Princess Zelda action figure is highly poseable with 20+ points of articulation.
- Pose out Zelda with the included Decayed Master Sword and interchangeable sword grip hand.
- Display your Legend of Zelda fandom on your shelf with window box packaging featuring game-inspired character art.
That's not all though, as Hasbro are also set to release similar figure runs for both Link and Ganondorf, so you can also complete the set if one is not enough. The only caveat to all that good fun is that it is currently only available for pre-order, with shipping not expected to go ahead until April 2027, so you will have a bit of a wait.
Before then, though, the aforementioned Ocarina of Time Remake is on the way this year, and that should provide more than enough nostalgia to tide Legend of Zelda fans over, while they wait to find out exactly what Nintendo has planned next.
