Clea Shearer revealed she recently had to undergo her eighth surgery since she was diagnosed with breast cancer nearly three years ago.
On Tuesday, the 42-year-old entrepreneur shared a health update with her 261K Instagram followers and revealed she had to go under the knife again over the weekend.
The Home Edit star took to Instagram with a photo of herself in a hospital gown and surgical cap as she posed for a smiling selfie alongside her husband John Shearer before the operation.
She said her doctor discovered a 'wound at my incision site that was open to my implant' and she had to undergo surgery to swap breast implants.
This comes nearly three years after Shearer revealed she was diagnosed with an 'aggressive' form of breast cancer and underwent a double mastectomy.
The Netflix star and co-founder of The Home Edit, a company that specializes in home organization, explained in a lengthy caption that she believed her seventh cancer-related procedure, which she had in November 2024, was her last but the latest, unexpected discovery may lead to more surgery.

'I didn't expect to need surgery today,' she wrote in her Instagram post on Monday.
'Two days ago, my doctor noticed a wound at my incision site that was open to my implant. He took one look at it and said, "What are you doing on Monday?"
'My heart sank because I knew what was coming next,' she continued.
She said that she knew what that question meant, and she also knew she would have no time to 'mentally prepare' for the operation that needed to happen urgently and quickly.
'Time for another operation... And since it had to happen immediately, I wasn't going to have time to mentally prepare.'
She said she thought that the latest operation she got late last year would have been her 'final' surgery for a while, but now she might have to anticipate more.
'Back in November, I celebrated what I *thought* was my final surgery (at least for a long while),' she wrote.
'Lucky number 7 was going to be it! But two months later, I'm at the hospital about to go in for my 8th,' she continued. 'The scary part about today's surgery is that there's a good chance it leads to my 9th.

'I've been told to emotionally prepare myself that swapping my implant out might not work, in which case I'll need a larger reconstruction that uses tissue from my latissimus dorsi muscle in my back,' she explained.
'But for now, I'm going to focus on getting through this surgery before I worry about needing the next one.'
Shearer said that now she is 'unfortunately' experienced and 'very good' at getting ready quickly in all aspects except 'emotionally.'
'The good news is that I'm a pro at this point... I can get into my robe, hair net and yellow socks in record time,' she said.
'Even John has a routine in the cafeteria. We are unfortunately very good at this.'
She ended off her post with an optimistic message and heart emoji: 'Fingers crossed for a good outcome! xo, Clea.'
