The Golden Bachelor: Signs Leslie Fhima's 'Friendship' With Jordan Heller Is Doomed

The Golden Bachelor runner-up Leslie Fhima has been staying in touch with Bachelor Nation after her time on the series, but there are signs her friendship with The Golden Bachelorette ’s Jordan Heller is doomed. Leslie, who appeared on The Golden Bachelor season 1 in hopes of winning Gerry Turner’s heart, won the attention of audiences as she moved through the competition. While Gerry wound up choosing Theresa Nist at the end of the season, breaking Leslie’s heart and sending her home, many felt that Leslie was the superior choice for the Indiana native, even before his marriage to Theresa ended.

Leslie took some time away from Bachelor Nation after the show came to an end, especially knowing that Gerry and Theresa were going to be monopolizing the media for the foreseeable future. Despite rumors that she may become the first-ever Golden Bachelorette, Leslie chose to keep her life a bit more private while her former Golden castmate Joan Vassos took on the lead of The Golden Bachelorette season 1. Despite knowing that she didn’t necessarily want the attention of being The Golden Bachelorette, Leslie likely didn’t enjoy not having the opportunity to meet the men of the new Bachelor spin-off.

While romantic connections were possible, Leslie also seemed to want to keep in touch with the other Golden contestants who were getting the opportunity to appear in the franchise. Though Leslie hasn’t posted with many of the men of The Golden Bachelorette, recently Bachelor Nation was surprised to see Leslie spending some time with Joan’s former suitor, Jordan. A 61-year-old Chicago native, Jordan was one of the front-runners but was eliminated after hometown dates when Joan realized she felt more for the other men in her cast. Leslie and Jordan may be friends, but their friendship isn’t meant to last.

Leslie’s relationship with Gerry ended over a year ago, but she’s been quiet about any romantic connections she’s formed since her time on The Golden Bachelor. Though it’s been clear that Leslie has been working on herself and maintaining her friendships, many have been curious if she’s venturing into the dating world after having her heart broken by the charismatic lead. Leslie and Jordan’s friendship seems like it would be unlikely, but she shared that after seeing him on screen, the pair have been texting throughout The Golden Bachelorette season. Leslie and Jordan’s recent meetup, however, was unexpected for both.

Leslie explained that she was in Los Angeles for a taping of Dancing With The Stars and found out that Jordan was going to be attending an LAFC game. When Jordan discovered she was in town, he invited her and a friend along. The pair had a friendly outing, but Leslie tried to squash the romance rumors quickly, sharing that though Jordan would’ve been her choice as The Golden Bachelorette, they were simply friends. While Lesie may not be telling the full truth, she could be on the rebound after Gerry. That could impact their friendship, should something romantic happen.

Although Leslie and Jordan’s relationship has been primarily private through text messages, the hard launch of their friendship was a surprise to Bachelor Nation. With Leslie showing up at the LAFC game with Jordan, many were immediately speculative about the nature of their relationship and what their connection may mean for Bachelor Nation as a whole. Though Leslie squashed the romance rumors, it’s possible she could be using her friendship with Jordan for clout after his successful turn on The Golden Bachelorette. Though Jordan was eliminated from the series, he’s a popular cast member who she enjoyed watching on screen.

Rather than moving on, however, Leslie has seemed to be aware that she wants time to heal before she allows someone else into her heart. Leslie’s Bachelor Nation journey may be over, but she could be with a potential future lead of The Golden Bachelor if she takes time to heal.
