Chris is a Senior News Writer for Collider. He can be found in an IMAX screen, with his eyes watering and his ears bleeding for his own pleasure. He joined the news team in 2022 and accidentally fell upwards into a senior position despite his best efforts.

For reasons unknown, he enjoys analyzing box office receipts, giant sharks, and has become known as the go-to man for all things Bosch, Mission: Impossible and Christopher Nolan in Collider's news division. Recently, he found himself yeehawing along to the Dutton saga on the Yellowstone Ranch.

He is proficient in sarcasm, wit, Photoshop and working unfeasibly long hours. Amongst his passions sit the likes of the history of the Walt Disney Company, the construction of theme parks, steam trains and binge-watching Gilmore Girls with a coffee that is just hot enough to scald him.

His obsession with the Apple TV+ series Silo is the subject of mockery within the Senior News channel, where his feelings about Taylor Sheridan's work are enough to make his fellow writers roll their eyes.

There's only one way to describe this. The Gentlemen is leveling up next season, and big time. Following the huge debut success of Guy Ritchie's adaptation of his own 2020 movie, and then the rapid expansion with the Second Season which debuted on Netflix a few weeks ago, Netflix is staying in the Horniman-Glass business and it's clear that the big names are desperate to become a part of it.

Netflix has officially confirmed that The Gentlemen Season 3 has begun production, with filming taking place in the United Kingdom and Morocco. The streamer also announced a huge raft of additions to the cast, with Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings), Orlando Bloom (Pirates of the Caribbean) and Robert Carlyle (Trainspotting) joining the series alongside returning stars Theo James and Kaya Scodelario.

The new additions also include Dexter Fletcher (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels), Bruna Marquezine (Blue Beetle), Ed Speleers (You), Saffron Burrows (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds) and Bugzy Malone (Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre). Ritchie, who created the series based on his 2019 movie of the same name, celebrated the start of production and teased the bigger ambitions driving its third season.

"The ambition of The Gentlemen has accelerated, the world has expanded and the consequences carry weight. A third season felt inevitable, and I’m looking forward to pushing the boundaries of it further."

What Can We Expect From 'The Gentlemen' Season 3?

The third season will continue the story of Eddie, who originally inherited his family's enormous country estate only to discover that it was being used as the headquarters of a major marijuana operation. What began as an attempt to escape the criminal world has gradually turned into something considerably more ambitious, with Eddie becoming increasingly comfortable with the power and money that comes with it. In Season Three, Eddie and Susie embark upon their most audacious project yet: building a casino in the Middle East. But with danger lurking around every corner, has the Duke’s unchecked ambition finally gone too far?

The Gentlemen Seasons 1 and 2 are streaming now on Netflix. Season 3 is currently filming in the United Kingdom and Morocco, with a premiere date still to be announced.
