Netflix has set Thursday, May 28 for the Season 2 premiere of The Four Seasons. The streamer also released a set of first-look photos from the upcoming eight-episode season.
From co-creators Tina Fey, Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield, Season 2 will once again follow six friends on four different vacations over the course of a year.
In addition to Fey, returning series regulars include Will Forte, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Marco Calvani, Erika Henningsen, with Colman Domingo.
In Season 1, we saw six old friends head for a relaxing weekend away only to learn that one couple in the group is about to split up. The three couples, Kate (Fey) and Jack (Forte), Nick (Steve Carell) and Anne (Kenney-Silver), and Danny (Domingo) and Claude (Marco Calvani), are completely upended by the news. Over the course of a year, we follow the friends on four vacations, and watch how this shake-up affects everyone’s dynamic — sending old issues and new bubbling to the surface.
The Four Seasons is produced for Netflix by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, with Fey, Fisher, Wigfield, Jeff Richmond, Eric Gurian and 3 Arts’ David Miner executive producing. Fisher also directs. Little Stranger, Inc. is the production company.
