The after-Christmas sales may not officially be underway yet, but you don't have to wait till then to take advantage of one of the best smartwatch deals we've seen in a while. It's for the Garmin Vivoactive 6, which is on sale at Amazon for $249.99 (was $299.99).

We've only just put the latest sixth-generation version to test, and we came away super-impressed with this feature-packed, all-around smartwatch. We love the unbelievably long battery life, sleek AMOLED display, impressive suite of fitness and activity tracking features, and the nice design.

Today's best Garmin Vivoactive 6 deal

After the success of the Garmin Vivoactive 5, it wasn't a huge surprise to find that the 6th generation of the popular smartwatch also delivers excellent battery life, a bold AMOLED display, and an extensive set of fitness features. You can read more about that in our extensive Garmin Vivoactive 6 review.

One of my favorite features on the Vivoactive 6 is the health tool that tracks sleep, stress levels and naps. With the recorded data, the watch is then able to give you a ‘body battery’ score, giving you an idea of your readiness for the day ahead.

In terms of design, the Vivoactive 6 watch looks very similar to the Vivoactive 5, with a "plastic casing, aluminum bezel, two buttons instead of the usual five-button configuration found on more premium Garmin watches, and a silicone strap." Our full breakdown of the watch can be found on our Garmin Vivoactive 6 specs page.
