Marty Fox has shared the terrifying moment his wife Charlotte saved his life.

The Block judge took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal that a prolonged period of not taking care of himself led to a severe respiratory infection that developed into pneumonia.

'After four months of not taking my foot off the gas I finally broke,' he wrote.

'I was so sick it wasn't funny… two rounds of antibiotics, steroids, IVs and I still couldn't shake it.'

Marty went on to reveal that his flu soon turned into a life-threatening bout of bronchitis that took a turn for the worse.

'I went to lay down to go to bed and launched into a full bronchial spasm. I couldn't get air into me, couldn't breathe and felt like I was drowning,' he said.

'If I was home alone, I would have passed out or had a heart attack,' he continued, before adding it was the scariest moment of his life.

Marty's harrowing health ordeal comes after he listed his luxury Toorak home for sale – and promoted it with a very cheeky social media post.

The reality TV star posted a photo to social media last year baring his backside to highlight the home's seclusion in one of Melbourne's wealthiest suburbs.

'You can walk out into the yard here and you are in the middle of the best urban postcode Australia has to offer,' the post read.

'Yet, not a single person can look at you if you decide to walk the entire property from front to back in the nude.

'Selling the dream. One cheek at a time.'

The amusing post went viral at the time, attracting plenty of eyeballs on the property.

The couple bought the lavish 1890-built home for $7.2 million in 2021, and conducted extensive renovations before moving in.

The pair made sure to keep the home's historic charm while adding contemporary luxury and amenities.

Marty is the chief executive of WHITE FOX Real Estate, which he co-founded with his wife.

He first appeared on the 2023 season of The Block as a semi-regular judge and returned for the following season.
