The Block's Eliza Paschke, 40, welcomes first child with Nova star friend Clint Stanaway after freezing her eggs and shares their unusual parenting arrangement

Eliza Paschke has become a first-time mother at the age of 40.

The Block star and her Nova radio presenter friend Clint Stanaway welcomed a baby daughter on Sunday.

The happy parents posed alongside their newborn in an Instagram post, while announcing that the baby girl's name is Stevie Rose Stanaway.

'Our little girl has made her grand entrance,' the caption alongside the images read.

Eliza added: 'Mum is obsessed. Dad can't stop crying.'

The reality star's sister, Liberty Paschke, was quick to congratulate her sibling in the comments below the image.

'My new forever bestie,' the 37-year-old wrote.

The couple's famous friends also chimed in with well wishes, including Bec Judd, who commented: 'Aww congratulations!'

Fellow The Block stars Stephanie and Gian Ottavio wrote: 'Congratulations again you guys! Can't wait to meet her.'

MasterChef Australia star Khanh Ong added: 'Congratulations!'

Eliza and Clint, 43, are not in a relationship, and decided to have a child together as friends.

'I'm going to be having a baby with a really good friend of mine, her name's Eliza, and we're going to be using a co-parenting model to have this child,' Clint said on the Jase, Lauren & Clint radio show.

'We're going to have a different looking family, but a family that is not going to have any shortage of love in it.'

They announced the pregnancy in June.

'Becoming a Mum is something I've always thought about and openly discussed,' Eliza said at the time.

'Today I'm 16 weeks pregnant, and feeling immensely grateful to be in this position.'

Eliza previously revealed that she decided to freeze her eggs at the age of 32.

'I was single with no assets to my name and had saved up just enough money for an overseas holiday,' she told nine.com.au in 2024.

'Instead of going on that holiday, I made a $10,000 investment in my future,' Eliza continued.

'I'm not sure if I want children but I guess it gives me a bit of a security blanket for potentially having a child if I want to later in life.

'I am single, so you have to think about these things a little bit.'

Eliza and her sister Liberty placed second in the 2023 season of The Block, taking home a whopping $1.05 million after smashing their $3,250,000 reserve.
