The best October Prime Day deals you can get for under $100

3 weeks ago 12

If you’re looking to maximize your budget and score a bigger haul for your money during October’s Amazon Prime Day sale, you’ll be happy to know that there are many great deals you can find on tech and other gear for well under $100. Some of the inexpensive gadgets we like under that threshold are discounted even further, while others normally in the triple digits have snuck into double-digit territory, some for the first time.

Right now, for example, you can find great prices on Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K Max, Philips Hue RGB smart bulbs, and Anker’s MagGo 3-in-1 charging stand. The Verge only highlights deals on products that we recommend or use, whether based on our testing for the site or our own everyday experiences. We’re keeping this piece updated throughout Prime Day with new deals as they come and go, so be sure to check back.

  • The fourth-gen Echo is matching its all-time low of $44.99 ($55 off) at Amazon. It’s a little older now, but the smart speaker still sounds better than any of Amazon’s entry-level speakers thanks to its more robust drivers. Plus, unlike the Pop and the latest Echo Dot, the standard Echo can double as a smart home hub with Zigbee support. Read our review.

It also offers a wider field of view than the prior model and onboard person detection, so long as you opt for the $ 3-a-month subscription.
