With the arrival of Halloween comes an opportunity for everyone to let loose and embrace the spooky season.

And every year sees some big names going the extra mile to plan a huge celebration for all their famous friends.

And celebrities often love any excuse to trade in their glamorous looks for spooky or sexy attire, and show off their creativity with their costumes.

This year has brought a range of celebrations, with lavish and extravagant decorations, scary and also sexy outfits and plenty of flowing drinks.

From kid-friendly parties, to huge star-studded bashes, MailOnline looks at all the biggest and best Halloween events of 2024.

Billie Eilish's LA bash

Billie Eilish's party in Los Angeles on Saturday night attracted a slew of high-profile guests, including Malia and Sasha Obama.

The daughters of former president Barack Obama were stuck to a fashionable cowboy theme, with Malia, 26, rocking thigh-high black boots to match her black cowboy hat, a denim skirt and white tank-top.

Her statement piece was a fake snake wrapped around her shoulders while temporary barbwire-styled tattoo was placed around her upper arm.

Sasha, 23, looked fashion forward as she left the bash in slouchy brown heeled boots and a long leather coat. 

The younger Obama wore a baby blue cropped tee-shirt, tan striped mini shorts and a chunky black belt to tie the look together. 

Underneath her coat, she seemed to be wearing a cowboy-styled brown vest and a western-styled light brown bag with silver details was slung over her forearm. 

While Kaia Gerber showcased her toned legs but kept her costume under wrap as she made her exit.

The Palm Royale actress, 23, was seen wearing a pleated navy blue mini-skirt with a side pleat beneath a black blazer. 

The model also wore knee-high black boots and carried a small, black Celine shoulder bag, with her hair and makeup giving nothing away.

Billie's brother Finneas was also in attendance with his girlfriend Claudia Sulewski, with the couple wearing coordinating costumes.

The singer went as a vampire, sporting a black waistcoat and blazer over a white collared shirt and realistic fanged teeth.

While Claudia dressed as either his vampire bride or his victim, putting on a busty display in a plunging black dress, with mesh veil and a bite mark painted on her neck.

While according to Just Jared, other famous faces at the party included The Kid LAROI and Kiernan Shipka.

Khloé Kardashian's pumpkin party 

Khloé Kardashian threw her annual 'cousin's pumpkin party' at her $17million California mansion over the weekend. 

Per Kardashian tradition, the reality star, 40, went all out decorating for the event with tons of pumpkins, massive balloon arches and every kid's favorite thing – a slime-making station. 

The slime-making station was located at the arts and crafts table where the kids could also decorate pumpkins and 'spooky' gingerbread houses and paint canvases to take home.

'Slime is always at our parties and the kids never get tired of it. We always try to incorporate new stuff, but slime wins every time… right, True?' she asked her daughter in one video.

Khloé also gave a shoutout to Mr. Jack O'Lantern, a popular pumpkin patch for providing the pumpkins for her party.

The Good American founder also provided an array of sweet treats for the party guests including cupcakes, cake pops, candy apples, mini donuts, Rice Krispies and cookies from the Cake Gourmet Sugar Service.

All guests also got to take home a bag of candy from a skeleton stuffed with candy.

Sharing a photo of a board of meats and cheese, she wrote: 'Have you ever seen a charcuterie board this insane?!?'

Khloé's two kids, daughter True, six, and son Tatum, two, matched their mom in skeleton onesies for the fun day.

While her mother Kris Jenner got into the spirit of Halloween for the festive bash in a Snow White costume that made her look decades younger.

Khloé shared a pic with the momager, 68,on her Instagram Stories and captioned it: 'My mom showed up at Snow White! I thought one of my sisters hired a Disney Princess but no.. it was @krisjenner!!!

On another photo of Kris as the beloved Disney character, Khloé wrote: 'The fact that she came to our pumpkin party as Snow White. Mom I love you so much. You're insane and I'm obsessed with you.'

Shyamaween Bash

He's famous for his films featuring supernatural plots and shocking twist-endings.

So M. Night Shyamalan was in prime position to throw an epic Halloween party in Philadelphia on Saturday night.

The Sixth Sense director, 54, pulled out all the stops for his 10th Annual Shyamaween bash, to benefit the M. Night Shyamalan Foundation. 

The foundation 'supports the grassroots efforts of emerging leaders as they work to eliminate the barriers created by poverty and social injustice in their communities,' according to its website. 

M. Night ensured he dressed up for the party, transforming into the Joker, as played by Heath Ledger in the 2008 film The Dark Knight.

He donned a identical nurse outfit like that worn by the infamous villain in the film and the classic face paint and green hair.

His wife, Dr. Bhavna Shyamalan, 55, looked beautiful in an amber-colored, Victorian era gown with bats all over it.

Her makeup was a cross between zombie and goth as she proudly posed next to her talented husband who looked adoringly at her.

And the couple's daughter, Isha Shyamalan, 25, attended the party dressed as a blood-soaked cheerleader. 

Halloween Boogie Ball 

Throwing a very different kind of Halloween bash, Molly-Mae Hague hosted her own Boogie Ball for her daughter Bambi, 21 months, and friends, full of treats and games.

The Love Island star, 25, pushed the boat out for the spooky celebration, with a witches' broom parking station, pumpkin treats and a themed playground. 

Sharing snaps on her Instagram, Molly-Mae transformed her kitchen into a Halloween-inspired play area - complete with ball-pit and slide. 

Her home was adorned with pumpkins, skeletons, ghosts and Autumn leaves, dubbed Bambi's Boo-ulevard.

While there were also tables full of delicious treats, including smores, pumpkins shaped sweets and personalised lollipops.

Molly-Mae's manager also took to her Instagram story to reveal several sensational charcuterie platters to snack on.

The influencer looked completely unrecognisable as she dressed up as Grandma Wolf to host the extravagant Halloween bash.

She shared adorable snaps with Bambi, who wore a Little Red Riding Hood costume, while Molly-Mae wore a floral nightgown and glasses with a cane and then added furry gloves and feet and wolf-like makeup.

Captioning the photos, Molly-Mae wrote: 'But Grandmother… what big hands you have!!!!!' 

CircoLoco Ibiza party 

The weekend saw stars flocking to New York City for the CircoLoco Ibiza party at the Brooklyn Storehouse at the Navy Yard.

According to Page Six, the most famous face in attendance was Leonardo DiCaprio, who rocked up with an entourage of eight in three SUVs.

As always, the actor kept a low profile and hid his face behind a mask, as he reportedly partied until 5.30am.

Leo previously attended the same event back in 2022, with a gaggle of models including Gigi and Bella Hadid and Irina Shayk.

The publication added that supermodel Naomi Campbell was also spotted at the event with ASAP Rocky, with the pair hanging out in the DJ booth.

While House of the Dragon star Matt Smith and model Joan Smalls were also allegedly spotted at the bash.

Annabel's Halloween 2024: Ghosts Of Versailles

The exclusive Mayfair Members' Club Annabel's went all out for the spooky occasion with a Ghosts Of Versailles themed party on Friday.

Gold candelabras were set up in the venue, with period-style paintings, while fake blood was smeared across the walls for a eerie touch.

While the entrance boasted a giant statue of Marie Antoinette, with her skirt covered in vines of ivy.

Men rode horses down the streets outside, clad in intricate military uniforms, while also sporting bloody wounds.

While others rode in extravagant blue and gold carriages, blowing kisses at the guests while decked out the finest period outfits.

Many guests kept to the theme with their own looks, sporting narrow waisted corsets, satin dresses and jacket, powdered faces and towering wigs.

However, Pixie Lott went in a different direction for the lavish bash, as she hilariously dressed as an iconic Aperol Spritz cocktail.

The popstar was dressed in a bright orange, one shouldered mini dress which she paired with silver metallic tights and boots. 

Pixi added a large orange bowl to her skirt which was filled with  fake ice cubes and half an orange slice. 

The Nasty singer finished off her fun outfit with a tiny orange hat which also featured an orange segment and a jewel-encrusted Aperol bottle bag. 

Kiss Haunted House Party

A host of British stars descended on the Kiss Haunted House Party hosted at Here at Outernet in London on Tuesday night.

Katie Price and boyfriend JJ Slater were dressed to impress as they led the star arrivals.

The former glamour model, 46, transformed into a spooky skeleton in a plunging black  jumpsuit, paired with black and grey Halloween face paint.

Meanwhile her MAFS star partner, 32, rocked an all black outfit and painted his entire face and chest red, completing the look with devil horns on his forehead.  

Katie and JJ were joined at the event by her two children Junior and Princess, who she shares with ex husband Peter Andre. 

Junior, 19, went all out with his outfit as he also dressed up as a devil in a dazzling red suit and black shirt. 

The singer, who rocked red face paint and horns arrived at the party with his glamorous girlfriend Jasmine Orr, 24, who displayed her incredible figure in a black glittering mesh bodysuit.  

Meanwhile Princess, 17, kept her outfit casual but brought some Halloween horror with her spooky face paint inspired by Pennywise the Clown.

Elsewhere Tallia Storm, 26, took inspiration from Beyonce for her Halloween costume channelling the singer's latest album, Cowboy Carter Renaissance Act II.

She donned a PVC bra and form-fitting chaps and added to the Western feel with a white cowboy hat and a pair of red boots, while also sporting a renaissance sash.

Show contributor Harriet Rose also attended the bash in a black lace Gothic look, which featured a sexy slit up the leg and was teamed with grey boots.

YouTuber Elz the Witch opted for a classic look for the occasion, arriving in a short red dress with horns and a pitchfork.

Marvin Humes and Tyler West also went all out for Halloween this year, dressing as Deadpool and Wolverine from their film, Deadpool & Wolverine.

Meanwhile EastEnders and Strictly star Molly Rainford transformed into The Mask as she donned a yellow suit and green face paint.

The actress looked incredible as she posed for photos covering her face with a yellow hat. 

Meanwhile, Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely also attended but Perri could have easily been missed as he came dressed in a huge sheet as a ghost.

La La Anthony and Lenny Santiago's party

La La Anthony and Lenny Santiago hosted a star-studded bash on Wednesday nighat Lavo in West Hollywood.

La La commanded attention in a very racy latex Deadpool costume, which clung to her curves, complete with utility belt and mask.

While Winnie Harlow threw it right back to the 70s as she dressed as Diana Ross in her album cover of Everything Is Everything.

The supermodel, 30, left little to the imagination as she slipped into a daring skintight sheer catsuit which covered her modesty with a cluster of crystals.

The beauty accessorised with multiple pearl necklaces and added inches to her frame in a pair of silver pointed heels.

Winnie — whose real name is Chantelle Brown-Young - kept warm with a white long fur jacket and finished her look off with a jewelled clutch.

Other big names at the party were Oscar nominee, Daniel Kaluuya, actress Tiffany Haddish and rapper Blac Chyna.

While Karrueche Tran channelled a sexy Victoria's Secret angel in a white lingerie-inspired dress, which showed off her gorgeous curves and legs.

The socialite and actress, 36, added a pair of angelic feathered wings and boosted her height with towering silver glittery heels, while toting a matching clutch bag. 

Hallozeem 

The Hallozeem Halloween bash on Friday night also saw a number of celebrities dressing up for the occasion.

Lou Teasdale and footballer Andy Carroll made their first public appearance together as they dressed up as Taylor Swift and boyfriend Travis Kelce.

Lou, 41, opted for a cropped black vest and tight leather trousers, adding brown leather boots and a blonde wig, with Taylor's favourite classic red lip.

She cosied up to her rumoured new man, who sported an American football uniform with Travis' number 87 jersey and recognizable moustache.

Joining Lou and Andy at the spooktacular bash was Lottie Moss who transformed into a sexy vampire clad in a black lace dress which displayed her black underwear underneath.

The OnlyFans model, 26, added a black wig and platform high heels, completing her vampy look with fake red blood dripping down her chin and neck.

Singer Diana Vickers displayed her jaw-dropping physique dressed up as a Victoria Secret Angel.

The former X Factor star looked stunning in the sexy white corset, which featured lace and ribbon along its centre and boasted a set of fluffy wings.

Also at the star-studded event was Heartstopper actress Yasmin Finney who wore a very revealing cave girl outfit adorned with faux fur and brown leather.

Yasmin looked the part in her stylish ensemble complete with fur boots, a tooth comb necklace.

Janette Manara also put on animated display as Snow White, in the iconic mini yellow and blue dress, complete with heels and a bow headband.

Comedian and television presenter Joel Dommet ensured he was the centre of attention, as he arrived for the party dressed as the Queen of a Hearts .

Joel stood out from everyone in the outlandish look, complete with a wife, huge neck ruff and face paint as he was joined by his wife Hannah Cooper as Alice in Wonderland.

Laura Whitmore was also DJing for the guests and stood out in her Pretty Woman costume, wearing Julia Robert's famous blue and white dress and thigh high PVC boots.

Alix in Wonderland 

Alix Earle proved she's following in Heidi Klum's footsteps as the Queen of Halloween when she hosted an elaborate Alice in Wonderland party in Los Angeles on Friday night, called Alix in Wonderland.

The influencer, 23, decked out the KEYS club with a Mad Forest theme, complete with pschedelic lights, giant toadstools and playing cards decorating the ceiling.

Alix transformed into a creepy Cheshire Cat, which included prosthetics, body paint from head to toe and purple lace lingerie.

She later admitted that when it came to getting the body paint off, she needed a little help from her friends, telling Elle: 'I came back from the party with my friends. It was six of us in the shower with a jug of baby oil and everyone was lathering me trying to get it off.

'I fell asleep in the bed and the sheets are purple - the whole apartment is purple.' 

She was joined by a slew of celebrity pals, including The Kid Laroi, Travis Barker's son Landon Barker, and Kylie Jenner's BFF Anastasia Karanikolaou.

Actress Shay Mitchell was also in attendance, putting on a very leggy display in a sparkly green dress as she dressed as Poison Ivy, complete with vines and a red wig.
