Ben Higgins & Jessica Clarke Give Couples Quarantine Tips

Ben Higgins has a new rose in his life.

The Bachelor alum and his wife Jessica Clarke, who got married in November 2021, celebrated the arrival of their first daughter together in a sweet Instagram post.

“Update and more to come, but baby girl Higgins has entered the world,” Higgins captioned the Feb. 13 post, which sees him staring at their first born and Clarke with an emotional smile. “I don’t yet have words for what just happened but the update right now is we have a daughter and Jess is recovering so well. The nurses and doctors who cared for us should be lifted high.”

Higgins then praised God for spending “a little more time” on his “beautiful baby girl.” Their daughter’s face, tucked away on Clarke’s chest as she laid in a hospital bed, was hidden by an emoji in the photo. Although, as the 35-year-old noted, the Colorado-based couple plans to show her face after they spend some quality time together.

Ben’s fellow Bachelor Nation members got in on the love, congratulating the duo on their new bundle of joy in the comments section. Wells Adams wrote, “I love all three of you,” while Natalie Joy—who shares daughter River, 1, with Bachelor alum Nick Viall—complimented Clarke as a “super human mama.”

Higgins and Clarke, also 35, first announced they were expecting in a touching video on Instagram in August. The emotional clip featured various moments from their nearly five-year relationship—including them sailing away on a small boat after their wedding and Clarke giving herself a hormone injection in her stomach area—before ending with them announcing their baby news to their loved ones.
