Netflix added 61 movies and 9 TV shows in September 2025, but there's three I've really got my eye on. One of these happens to be an old favorite of mine.
Whether you want to revisit an award-winning sci-fi thriller or Steven Knight's newest drama, plenty is coming up on one of the best streaming services.
There's so much to scroll through on Netflix, but I'd suggest keeping an eye out for these gems this month.
Orphan Black
Episode length: 43 minutes
Seasons: 5
Creators: Graeme Manson and John Fawcett
Main cast: Tatiana Maslany, Dylan Bruce, Jordan Gavaris, Kevin Hanchard, Michael Mando
With Tatiana Maslany playing 17 (yes you read that correctly) different characters, her varied performances went down in Emmy's history when she rightfully won the award for Lead Actress.
If that isn't enough to intrigue you, the plot surely will. The pilot episode follows Sarah Manning, a con artist who assumes the identity of her look-alike, Beth Childs, after witnessing her suicide. From then on, Sarah learns she's part of a huge conspiracy, and that she's a clone.
Full of twists and turns, this show remains one of my favorites and I'm so excited to rewatch it now it's on Netflix.
House of Guinness
House of Guinness | Official Trailer | Netflix - YouTube
Episode length: TBC
Seasons: 1
Creator: Steven Knight
Main cast: Louis Partridge, Anthony Boyle, Emily Fairn, Fionn O'Shea, David Wilmot, James Norton, Jack Gleeson
Steven Knight is back with another great period drama after hits like Peaky Blinders and the Disney+ series A Thousand Blows. This time, he's taking us to 19th-century Ireland to center on the Guinness brewing company.
There's some huge stars in this including Game of Thrones' Jack Gleeson and Happy Valley's James Norton, as we follow the consequences following the death of Benjamin Guinness, the man responsible for the success of the Guinness brewery, and the fate of his four adult children.
Knight certainly has a great track record so I'm excited to see where this show goes when it arrives on September 25.
Franklin & Bash
Episode length: 38 minutes
Seasons: 4
Creators: Kevin Falls and Bill Chais
Main cast: Breckin Meyer, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Dana Davis, Kumail Nanjiani, Malcolm McDowell
Franklin & Bash is a great pick if you're after some lighthearted legal drama, and perhaps the other two are a bit heavy!
With a great cast and some quick episodes, I highly recommend this one if you want something to binge. Follow two unconventional lawyers and longtime friends as they navigate different cases, with a different one to focus on each week.
There's some overarching stories to keep things interesting, too, so it's very easy to binge all four seasons quickly.
