If you’re a new owner of a PlayStation 5 Pro, you’ll want to check out this deal that can double its internal storage. The heatsink-equipped, 2 TB Samsung 980 Pro is one of our favorite SSDs for the PlayStation 5, and it’s currently on sale for nearly its lowest price ever at Amazon. Typically available for $229.99, you can grab it for $139.99. It hasn’t been this affordable in almost a year.

The hot new model of Sony’s console is equipped with a beefier GPU, plus double the storage space of the disc-based PlayStation 5 Slim. However, 2 TB will unfortunately not get you very far given the size of today’s video game install sizes. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, for instance, can take up a little over 300 GB with all of its optional content installed. If you’d prefer to spend more time gaming and less time figuring out what games to delete to free up the necessary space, an SSD like the Samsung 980 Pro is a purchase you won’t regret.
