Teddi Mellencamp attended a red carpet event with her close pal Kyle Richards in Los Angeles on Wednesday night after being hospitalized amid her stage 4 cancer battle.

The star, 44, was first diagnosed with melanoma in 2022 that later metastasized to her lungs and brain.

After being given a 50/50 chance of survival, Teddi emotionally revealed in October of last year that her cancer is now 'undetectable.

However, she sparked concern earlier this month when she ended up in the emergency room after waking up with 'sores all over [her] entire body.'

But Teddi looked happy and healthy as she joined Richards, 57, at the star-studded An Unforgettable Evening gala, which supports breast cancer research.

The daughter of singer John Mellencamp posed up for photographers in a chic black blazer, skinny trousers and slingback heels.

The BFFs appeared to be having a blast together on the red carpet as they posed with their arms wrapped around one another.

The charity event, held at the Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel, was also attended by the likes of Sofia Vergara, Kerry Washington and Carmen Electra.

It benefits the Women's Cancer Research Foundation's Women's Cancer Research Fund, which 'supports the advancement of the world’s most promising research directed at the development of innovative approaches to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, survivorship and metastasis of breast cancer,' as per the official website.

Teddi detailed her recent hospitalization less than two weeks ago on the March 3 episode of her Two T's In A Pod with Tamra Judge.

Teddi shared that she ended up in the emergency room after waking up with a severe rash which caused 'sores all over [her] entire body' but still managed to attend her daughter's birthday

'I thought I had the flu. And then I woke up one day and my whole body was just covered in, like, this terrible rash — like, you can't even say it's a rash because it's almost like sores all over my entire body,' she said.

The markings on her body were not just cosmetic as she said that they 'hurt and burned' so she ended up making a trip to urgent care but doctors advised her to go straight to the emergency room instead.

Teddi revealed that physicians had discovered her new medication caused Stevens-Johnson syndrome, which, according to the Mayo Clinic, is a 'a medical emergency that usually requires hospitalization' as the top layer of skin dies which causes painful blisters and a rash.

The medical site also says that people with cancer are at higher risk of the condition which is considered rare, severe and potentially life-threatening.

Teddi said that she had blisters in her mouth, around her eyes, and all over her body in addition to not being able to swallow.

She then was hospitalized and given steroid injections and antibiotics as she explained: 'The reason they were like, "You have to stay in [the hospital]' is because they can start to get better and then shift right back up."'

Luckily, Teddi was able to be discharged from the hospital in time to attend her daughter Dove's birthday party.

Teddi posted a photo of the six-year-old girl she shares with her estranged husband Edwin Arroyave and wrote, 'So happy I am out of the hospital in time for Dove's party.

'Last year I couldn't [make it to her party] and it broke my heart,' she added.

Teddi underwent emergency brain surgery in February 2025 to remove cancerous tumors, forcing her to miss Dove's birthday as she recovered.

In addition to Dove, she and Arroyave also share a 13-year-old daughter, Slate, and an 11-year-old son, Cruz.

Teddi's health crisis came just three months after she'd announced her split from Arroyave in late 2024.

She clarified on her Two T's In A Pod podcast in January of this year that even though her cancer is now 'undetectable,' she's not in the clear.

'There's still no trace of cancer. But I'm still considered stage four and I'm still on immunotherapy, so essentially nothing's changed other than I still don't feel great.

'I [hoped] that I would be feeling better by now, but I really don't,' she explained.
