Teddi Mellencamp took solace in being back at home with her family on Sunday after a grueling stint in the hospital as she shared outtakes from her daughter Dove's birthday party.

The 44-year-old former Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star posted a photo of the six-year-old girl she shares with her estranged husband Edwin Arroyave and wrote, 'So happy I am out of the hospital in time for Dove's party.

'Last year I couldn't [make it to her party] and it broke my heart,' she added.

Mellencamp underwent emergency brain surgery in February 2025 to remove cancerous tumors, forcing her to miss Dove's birthday as she recovered.

In addition to Dove, she and Arroyave also share a 13-year-old daughter, Slate, and an 11-year-old son, Cruz.

She took to social media on Wednesday to pay tribute to her youngest child on her actual birthdate, February 25.

The first image of the post was a present-day snap of Mellencamp smiling and hugging her daughter, who wore a 'Let's Party' tiara in honor of her special day.

A second photo showed Dove as a baby with white bandages wrapped around her head from when she underwent neurosurgery in 2020 for lambdoid craniosynostosis.

'Happy birthday to my miracle baby. The strength and resilience you have shown since you came into this world is something I have learned to use in my own fight,' Mellencamp wrote.

'And now at 6, you’re teaching us all how to enjoy life to the fullest while being your unabashed self.'

Dove enjoyed her party alongside friends in a joint birthday bash with the comedienne Sarah Tiana's son, Cage.

The party, hosted at an indoor recreation center for kids, featured ceiling-high jungle gyms, pizza and music.

Mellencamp and Tiana decorated with throwback photos of their kids together throughout their childhood.

'You guys are so cute. You had all your birthdays together, huh?' the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars said in a video clip.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight last year, she recalled how awful it felt having to miss her daughter's birthday party.

Remembering a conversation with Arroyave, she said, 'I was like, "I feel like today might be Dove’s birthday. And Edwin’s like, "It is. It’s her party today that you planned.'"

Tears streamed down her face as she went on to say, 'And I was like, "Can they please just let me out for today?"'

She credited her husband with providing the perfect response: 'We’ll throw another one.'

Mellencamp's health crisis came just three months after she'd announced her split from Arroyave in late 2024.

She clarified on her Two T's In A Pod podcast in January that even though her cancer is now undetectable, she's not in the clear.

'There's still no trace of cancer. But I'm still considered stage four and I'm still on immunotherapy, so essentially nothing's changed other than I still don't feel great.

'I [hoped] that I would be feeling better by now, but I really don't,' she explained.
