A devastated Teddi Mellencamp broke down in tears this week as she revealed that her new boyfriend just broke up with her.
Addressing the topic on her podcast Two Ts in a Pod, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 45, sobbed as she shared that her younger beau PJ Conley, 31, dumped her after a recent dinner date.
'I haven't been able to talk to anyone about this yet and I feel ridiculous that I'm even crying,' she said to co-host Dolores Catania.
'We had a really good time at dinner, and then after dinner, he's like, "Should we talk, you know, about the future?"' she recounted.
'And I was like, "I kinda just talk day to day because, to be perfectly honest, I don't know if I'm gonna be alive in the future. I'm just enjoying where I'm at."'
Mellencamp has been battling cancer since 2022, which started as a stage 2 melanoma before spreading to her brain and lungs.

Mellencamp broke down in tears as she announced the news of the split on her Two Ts in a Pod podcast this week
While she's only been dating Conley for four months, Mellencamp admitted that she had already met his parents and that she speaks to him every single morning and night.
'I think four months for me is such a long time because I am living in this very weird state of my life where I don't know myself anymore, and I'm trying to become the new me and love her too, even though she's very different,' she said.
As she and Conley continued talking after dinner, Conley kept pushing for them to discuss their future together.
According to Mellencamp, Conley then said that he 'liked' her and gushed about their chemistry and how much 'fun' they have together, even pointing out how accepting his parents had been about their age gap.
'And he goes, "But when I look at a future, I don't see you in it."' Mellencamp said through tears.
'I'm taken aback at this moment,' she recalled. 'I knew we were in a different place in our lives...'
She continued, 'He's my person, he makes me feel comfortable. Also, I have issues walking and doing stuff, getting on steps, he's helped me through all this.'
Despite their closeness, Conley allegedly told Mellencamp that he couldn't give her what she needed by advancing to the next stage of their relationship and building a future with her.

'I felt like whether he knew it or not, he was breathing life into me. Because sometimes I feel so sad or so sick I feel like I could just crumble. But I feel like he was giving me life,' she cried.
'But now I feel like, am I just not good enough?'
Back in 2022, Mellencamp was diagnosed with stage two melanoma, which then reached stage four and metastasized to her lungs and brain.
She later underwent brain surgery to remove four tumors and has had regular immunotherapy treatments since.
After being given a 50/50 chance of survival, Mellencamp revealed in October 2025 that her cancer had become 'undetectable.'
However, the reality star still takes multiple medications, including steroids, and is still dealing with hand tremors and other issues from her brain surgery.
'I'm not good with numbers. I can't write. It's hard for me to see,' she recently shared.
'All post-having-my-brain surgeries. That being said, I don’t want to keep feeling sorry for myself because that is what’s happening, and then I quit. So, I just want to feel okay being back in my skin again.'

In 2024, Mellencamp announced her divorce from Edwin Arroyave after 13 years of marriage.
The estranged couple are also parents to three children: Slate, 14, Cruz, 12, and Dove, six. Arroyave is also father to Bella, 16, from a previous relationship.
Mellencamp posted a statement on social media at the time to reveal the shock news of the separation.
'After a great deal of care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce,' she shared at the time.
'My priority is my children and ensuring that every care is taken with their privacy and wellbeing throughout this new chapter.
'Making a public statement is not something I wanted to do but in an effort to protect my family from undue speculation and rumors, I felt being open, honest and vulnerable was the best path forward.'
