Ted Lasso star Jason Sudeikis and ex Olivia Wilde put on a united front as they grab lunch with daughter in LA

Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde continued to co-parent on good terms as they met up for a Sunday afternoon lunch in Los Angeles.

Sudeikis, 50, and Wilde, 41, were seen taking their nine-year-old daughter Daisy to the Lyric Hyperion Theater and Cafe, and an eyewitness said they seemed to be getting along amicably.

The Ted Lasso actor, who is also father to his 11-year-old son Otis with Wilde, donned a blue hooded sweatshirt with brown pants with an off-white cap and black sneakers on the daytime outing. 

The Emmy-winning actor had a pair of black-framed eyeglasses dangling from the neck of his sweater on a sunny day in Southern California. 

Wilde, who starred in and directed 2022's Don't Worry Darling, donned a navy blue T-shirt with a yellow graphic that read, 'Reach out and touch someone,' a play on the vintage ad from AT&T. 

The actress and filmmaker wore a pink New York ball cap and vintage jeans with mustard-yellow vintage sneakers with red stripes.  

The former couple began seeing one another after crossing paths at a Saturday Night Live finale party in 2011.

Wilde and Sudeikis announced their engagement in late 2012 and welcomed their kids in 2014 and 2016, prior to ending their seven-year engagement in November of 2020.

They are more than two years removed from settling their contentious child custody case in September of 2023.

Wilde and Sudeikis's one-time custody battle centered on where their children would live.

Wilde, who went on to date Harry Styles following her split from Sudeikis, wanted to keep their base in Los Angeles and sometimes London; while Sudeikis was partial to living in New York City.

The custody case appeared to take a nasty turn when Sudeikis's legal team served Wilde with custody papers on stage in Las Vegas in April 2022 at CinemaCon.

The actress said in subsequent court filings obtained by Daily Mail that she felt the manner of service was 'the most aggressive ... possible.'

She said being served at the high-profile industry event was 'clearly intended to threaten [her] and catch [her] off guard.'

Wilde said at the time that 'the fact that Jason would embarrass me professionally and put our personal conflict on public display in this manner is extremely contrary to our children's best interests.

'Since Jason has made it clear that we will not be able to work this out for our children's sake outside of the court system, I filed a petition for custody in Los Angeles.'

Sudeikis later explained in a court filing his rationale in having Wilde served while in the city of Las Vegas, alluding to the London abode where Wilde was staying with Styles at the time.

'I did not want service to take place at the home of Olivia's current partner because Otis and Daisy might be present,' he said. 'I did not want service to take place at the children's school because parents might be present.'

Sudeikis noted that the process server had previously been unable to serve Wilde at the hotel room she was staying in, and seized the moment to serve her while at the panel.

Sudeikis said that he felt 'great distress at the manner in which service was made' when learning the details.

He added: 'I understand that the process server had only done her job; however, I deeply regret what happened.

'Olivia's talk was an important event for Olivia, both professionally and personally, and I am very, very sorry that the incident marred her special moment.'
