Taylor Swift's hunky bodyguard 'Drew' SHOVES fan as eyewitness tells all about wild encounter

Taylor Swift's dashing bodyguard fended off an eager fan who approached her at Wednesday's NBA Finals game at Madison Square Garden.

Swift, 36, was among the parade of celebrities cheering on the New York Knicks as they scored a historic triumph over the San Antonio Spurs.

As she sat courtside, sandwiched between her friends Este and Alana Haim, her longstanding security man was perched behind her.

Nicknamed 'Drew' by Swifties, he has managed to keep his true identity private despite spending a decade at the side of the world's most famous pop star.

In footage obtained by the Daily Mail, Swift and her friends were seen standing by their seats chitchatting when a male fan tried to get a selfie with her - but before he could get too close, Drew sprang into action and pushed him away.

An eyewitness who was close to Swift offered exclusive details of the moment to the Daily Mail, saying that 'the guy refused to stop at a security checkpoint. He pushed his way up to her and her security team quickly jumped in to protect her.'

The Daily Mail has contacted Swift's representative for comment.

As the man was hustled away, he kept holding his phone up in selfie position, and when Swift caught sight of him she offered a smile and a wave to his camera.

Despite being sloughed off, the man managed to capture an image of himself smiling with Swift and her friends visible behind him.

He evidently took a positive view of the encounter, posting the photo to X and writing: '@taylorswift13 thank you for saying yes to a picture before they shoved me away!'

Swift has been trailed by a sensational rumor that she and her NFL fiancé Travis Kelce are planning to hold their wedding at Madison Square Garden on July 13.

Details of her upcoming nuptials have been kept so assiduously under wraps that she reportedly took the precaution of inviting her guests over the phone rather than risking the paper trail involved in sending out cards.

At Wednesday night's game, the Knicks set an NBA Finals record by overcoming the Spurs' 29-point lead to soar to victory at the 11th hour.

Their next face-off - Game 5 of the Finals - will take place in San Antonio on Saturday, with the nail-biting possibility hanging in the air that the Knicks could win the NBA Championship for the first time since 1973.

Among the celebrities in Wednesday's audience were Timothee Chalamet - a devoted Knicks fan constantly seen at their games - with his girlfriend Kylie Jenner.

'U won't understand how big this is unless you're into pop culture,' one observer gasped online as another joked: 'knicks bringing world peace.'

Also in the crowd were Sydney Sweeney and her music mogul boyfriend Scooter Braun, who is another longtime bête noire of Swift's.

Braun acquired Swift's masters when his company bought her old record label in 2019, prompting her to re-record 'Taylor's Version' editions of all her old albums so that loyal Swifties could buy those instead.

Wednesday night's game offered a further dollop of revenge to Swift, in that Braun and Sweeney were seated five rows behind her.

Other attendees included Jerry Seinfeld, Hailey Bieber, Adam Sandler, Spike Lee, Larry David, Tate McRae, Jimmy Fallon and Ben Stiller.

After the game, Swift and her friends repaired to an afterparty at Zero Bond, a fashionable members-only club frequented by celebrities.

Along with the Haim sisters, her party included the 20-year-old musical artist Sombr, whose work has exploded on TikTok and who played Coachella this April.
