Taylor Swift fans joke 'this is the closest we are getting to Travis Kelce wedding photo' as pop star dons bridal gown in new Patient Zero music video

Taylor Swift fans joked that 'this is the closest we are getting' to a Travis Kelce wedding picture as the pop star donned a bridal gown in her new Patient Zero music video. 

The 36-year-old Grammy winner, who tied the knot with NFL player Travis Kelce back in July, debuted the video while accepting the inaugural Artist Director Honors during the 2026 VMAs on Sunday. 

The clip featured pals Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell, while others made brief cameos such as model Cara Delevingne. 

Towards the end of the music video, the camera panned towards a grave belonging to Swift's character. 

On the bottom right corner, an oval-shaped gold frame showed a fake wedding photo with Swift and Farrell. 

Social media users quickly jumped over to X to playfully joke about the image, with the Love Story songstress yet to unveil her own official wedding photos after saying 'I do' three months earlier to Kelce.

One penned, 'This is the closest we are going to get to a Tay wedding picture, isn't it?' 

Another typed out, 'Thank you for the wedding photo Taylor,' while a Swiftie added, 'WAKE UP TAYLOR SWIFT'S WEDDING PHOTOS DROPPED.'

An X user also shared, 'This being the closest we have seen Taylor as a bride in 2026.' 

Daily Mail has reached out to reps of Swift for comment, but has yet to hear back.

Some fans zoomed into the picture which showed the songstress wearing a sleeveless white dress as well as a sheer white veil at the back of her head. 

Swift married Kelce over Fourth of July weekend in a lavish ceremony that took place at Madison Square Garden. 

Large ad billboards at the venue displayed 'JusT&T married' to confirm the lovebirds said 'I do.'

Swift's longtime publicist Tree Paine, who was also in attendance, offered details of the wedding in an email blast shortly after the nuptials. 

Both Swift and Kelce wore looks created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. The couple also did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen for the ceremony. 

A-list stars that received a coveted invite were also spotted heading to the venue such as Karlie Kloss, Hugh Grant, Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper and Dakota Johnson. 

Earlier this week on Tuesday, a countdown clock had appeared on Swift's website, causing some fans to speculate that she was going to share wedding photos. 

However, the singer soon announced that new music was on the way. 

The music artist dropped four new songs on The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, which has been labeled as 'derivative and flat' in some reviews. 

The latest tracks include Patient Zero, as well as Pink Clouding, Babylon and Cleveland!, with the latter appearing to be a reference to Kelce's hometown in the state of Ohio.

Kelce did not appear to accompany Swift to the VMAs over the weekend, with the sports star in the midst of the current NFL season. 

The Bad Blood songstress took to the stage to accept the inaugural Artist Director Honors. 

'I got to start making music videos and being a part of these videos 20 years ago and since then, I've gotten to be a part of making 60 music videos, roughly 60,' she said during her speech. 

'Eighteen of those I wrote and directed, and I really love writing and directing music videos.'

Swift then gave a shout out to her fans for inspiring her to write and direct music videos. 

'You make it so rewarding because you actually care about what we're making so I want to say thank you to everyone who ever worked on a music video that I got to be a part of.' 

The star also unveiled her latest music video for her new single Patient Zero which starred Johnson and Farrell. 

The pair played a couple that seemingly were in a perfect relationship, until their rocky and toxic romance came to light. 

Delevingne also made a cameo in the clip as she portrayed Farrell's mistress. Swift played the ghost of Farrell's late wife in the video. 

Swift wowed at Sunday's awards show in a sleeveless, halter-styled gown with a black velvet top piece that had a sheer corset back. 

The bottom portion of the ensemble was made of a shimmering silver skirt that dazzled underneath the bright stage lights. 

Her blonde locks were parted in the middle and fell down naturally to brush the tips of her shoulders. 

Later during the ceremony, Swift also accepted the award for Video of the Year for her song The Fate Of Ophelia.
