Taylor Swift bundles up in $13k outfit as she and Travis Kelce surface for rare date night in NYC

Taylor Swift bundled up against the brutal New York City winter in style when she surfaced for a date night with her fiancé Travis Kelce this week.

The 36-year-old pop act was swathed in a $6,150 Shearling Collar Wrap Coat by Louis Vuitton, made in Italy from 'cashgora,' a blend of cashmere and Angora wool.

She accessorized with the same brand's Express PM purse, a black calfskin leather number that features the fashion house's signature monogram and costs $4,200.

Swift balanced on a set of $1,995 Loo Botta Tall Boots by Christian Louboutin, with the scarlet soles that have become a calling card for the shoe brand. 

Fans have made note of the fact that the combined cost of the three designer pieces is $12,345, which is to say a few hundred dollars shy of $13,000, via Page Six.

Her longtime lucky number is 13, a detail so well-known among Swifties that a persistent rumor is doing the rounds that she plans to marry Kelce this June 13.

Kelce, whose own style has been a subject of avid discussion among his fiancée's fans, cut a characteristically striking figure for his date night with Swift this week

His outfit included a set of wide-set blue pinstriped trousers, as well as a cozy-looking grey sweater and a complementary knit cap.

The Kansas City Chiefs superstar could be seen sweetly holding hands with his bride-to-be as he led her into the private members club Chez Margaux.

Swift has long felt 13 is her lucky number because of its repeated presence in her success, such as the fact that her first number-one song began with a 13-second intro or that her first album achieved gold status after 13 weeks.

Her birthday is on December 13 and she has previously expressed a keen interest in 'numerology' and 'dates,' which is part of the reason fans are speculating her nuptials will take place on June 13, her half-birthday. 

Her diehard fans often seize on the 'Easter eggs' she has laid for them with regard to the number, including recently when she announced her latest album The Life of a Showgirl on last year's August 13 episode of Kelce's podcast New Heights.

During that interview, Kelce noted that his jersey number with the Kansas City Chiefs is 87, which when combined with 13 adds up to 100 - a coincidence Swift laughingly referred to as 'part of the numerology of why we're dating.'

Then, exactly 13 days after the album announcement, she posted a suite of Instagram photos breaking the news that she and Kelce were affianced. 

Swift announced her engagement to Kelce last August in a viral Instagram post she captioned: 'Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.' 

Their latest date night comes after Kelce gave a sly nod to his 'wood' in a Valentine's Day card posted to Instagram on the romantic date.

This past October, she released her latest album The Life of a Showgirl, which included a cheeky song called Wood about Kelce's manhood.

'Forgive me, it sounds cocky - he ah-matized me and opened my eyes,' she sings. 'Redwood tree, it ain't hard to see. His love was the key that opened my thighs.'

Now Kelce, 36, has made a cheeky reference to the number on the Instagram account for his podcast New Heights, which he hosts with his brother Jason Kelce. 

The post was a Valentine's card template with a photo of a grinning Kelce, a drawing of a redwood tree and the message: 'WOOD YOU BE MY VALENTINE?'
