Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are taking a break from the spotlight.

The two wanted some down time after his crushing Super Bowl loss and her getting mercilessly booed at the big game, People claimed on Thursday.

Several fans think they will hide out on her very private $17M Rhode Island mansion.

'A great place where no one can find them? Rhode Island,' shared a fan on X while another added, 'RI chill time on the schedule no doubt.'

But that home is under renovation until the end of 2025, so it is likely they will hide out at another one of her residences. Swift reportedly has homes in Los Angeles, New York City and Nashville.

They are planning to 'have a break together' after a being in the public eye for most of last year.

The source confirmed to People, 'Their lives have been a whirlwind since they first started dating. Things seem great between them, and they're incredibly happy together.'

They added that the Super Bowl, which the Chiefs lost, 'was upsetting for everyone.'

Kelce is considering his future after losing the Super Bowl.

The 35-year-old sports star plans to take some time to consider his options before he decides whether to return to the NFL next season or not.

Travis - who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs franchise - said on his 'New Heights' podcast: 'I know everybody wants to know whether or not I'm playing next year, and right now, I'm just kicking everything down the road. I'm not making any crazy decisions.'

The sports star admitted that losing to the Philadelphia Eagles at the Super Bowl was a 'tough pill to swallow'.

And Travis will only return next season if he's fully committed to the idea.

He explained: 'I'm gonna take some time to figure it out. And, I think I owe it to my teammates that if I do come back, it's a wholehearted decision. I'm not half-a**ing it, and I'm fully here for them.'

Meanwhile, Travis recently admitted to being inspired by Taylor during her Eras Tour.

The Kansas City Chiefs star said during a pre-game press conference: 'What I saw on that tour last year was pretty remarkable.

'To see the week-in, week-out travelling from one country to the next and how excruciating it is on her body and on her mind - and it's not just her. It was her entire tour. It was an absolute machine and it was something I could admire watching.'

Travis - who began dating Taylor in 2023 - also revealed that he'd been focusing on his diet ahead of the Super Bowl.

He said: 'I've been eating clean. I haven't been drinking as much, a little lower on the pounds this week. So, hopefully I can run away from some Eagles out there.'

This comes after Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley said he doesn't understand NFL fans booing Swift.

The Cruel Summer hitmaker was jeered by fans at the Super Bowl last weekend where she was attending in support of her boyfriend - Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce - and the Eagles running back was puzzled by the hostile reaction to the star's presence at the game.

Saquon told Sirius XM's 'The Howard Stern Show': 'I remember they showed her on the jumbotron, and she got booed.

'I don't get it. I don't get why she was getting hate there. She was there supporting her significant other.'

Taylor's appearances at Chiefs games have earned significant attention in the press and Barkley argues that the pop star's presence has helped grow the sport's audience.

The 28-year-old NFL star said: 'She made the game bigger.

'In football, we're all about, 'How can we expand the game and make it more international?'

'We're travelling to Brazil, we're travelling to Mexico, apparently we're travelling to Australia soon. So we're trying to expand the game, and her being a part of it's only helping that. I don't get the slack that she's getting.'

However, US president Donald Trump - who was in attendance at the Super Bowl - had a less sympathetic reaction to Taylor, 35, being booed after she backed his presidential rival Kamala Harris in last year's election.

Posting on his Truth Social platform, Trump wrote after the game: 'The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!(sic)'

The 78-year-old politician also shared a screenshot from an account called Libs of TikTok which showed fan reactions to him and Taylor, along with the caption: 'Trump gets massive cheers at the Super Bowl while Taylor Swift gets booed – The world is healing.'
