Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus were both at the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2026 on Thursday evening.

But the two singers seemed to fail to pose together on the red carpet or inside the event, even though both mingled with other stars like Sombr, Olympic ice skating winner Alysa Liu and Lainey Wilson.

Also, there was talk that Swift would be presenting an award to Cyrus, but that did not happen.

Fans started to wonder if there were issues between the two icons. 'Uh, oh, I feel bad blood between these two,' said one person on Reddit while another added, 'The chill is in the air?'

After all, the two songbirds go way back, over 15 years, when Swift and Katy Perry were close pals. In 2009, Swift and Cyrus posed together at the Grammy Salute To Industry Icons honoring Clive Davis at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

But it turns out they did actually share a cute moment during the iHeart awards show.

Swift, 36, clapped when Cyrus, 33, walked up to the stage to accept her Innovator Award.

The camera turned to Swift, who was cheering and clapping for her old pal.

The 'Wrecking Ball' singer calmed down the chants from the crowd. She began, 'I'll take it.'

Cyrus said, 'They're going to Luda me!' referring to host Ludacris.

She added, 'Someone tell Luda that this does not count as my 45 seconds. No Luda! Okay!!'

Cyrus then gave her speech, 'This week celebrates 20 years of Hannah Montana. It has been a dream come true. My double denim and gold star thank you.'

Cyrus also joked, 'They've been waiting over a decade to leave the house.' She continued, 'Hannah Montana inspired me so much in my life, in my own career.'

Cyrus had a 'no shade' story at the 20th anniversary of Hannah Montana.

Cyrus revealed that Swift wrote the track You'll Always Find Your Way Back Home for the Hannah Montana movie.

She also made a cameo in the film singing, Crazier, in the barn-party scene.

Cyrus added how the soundtrack 'stands the test of time,' and Swift 'ate with that one.'

Cyrus also talked about Swift in the film, as she said, 'Get the tea kettle,' which was a joke.

The daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus then said: 'So the way that Taylor Swift ended up in the Hannah Montana movie was because this was kind of the beginning of her career, and they were looking for someone that would authentically — no shade, I guess — be performing in a barn.'

She explained, 'We both performed in the barn,' referring to her performance of 'Hoedown Throwdown.' Cyrus ended with, 'And so she came into the performance.'
