Dutton Ranch is actually free to watch like Yellowstone was. Taylor Sheridan's TV empire has only grown bigger during the 2025-2026 TV cycle thanks to a few new debuts. Aside from The Madison, which kicks off an entirely new lore, the writer/producer also managed to continue its flagship project after Yellowstone's ending in 2024 with two new sequels. However, while Luke Grimes' Marshals airs on CBS, Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser's Dutton Ranch is on streaming via Paramount+.
Not that Dutton Ranch is struggling for views. The latest Yellowstone spinoff sequel just broke a record for Paramount+, becoming its biggest debut series ever. That said, there's nothing wrong with trying to make it more accessible to a broader audience. While streaming platforms have increasingly become a very popular mode of entertainment, the sheer number of options and their corresponding rates have become a deterrent. Luckily for those who want to see why Dutton Ranch has been a hit, there's a way to watch it without a Paramount+ subscription.
Dutton Ranch Also Drops New Episodes On Paramount Network
Adhering to Paramount+'s weekly release schedule, Dutton Ranch's weekly episodes are available to stream every Friday at 12am PT/3 am ET. Clearly, fans of the Yellowstone brand have no problem accessing the show, considering its massive debut numbers for the platform. For those who aren't paying customers of Paramount+, however, a little known fact about Dutton Ranch is that it also drops new episodes the same day on Paramount Network. Granted that it releases several hours after the fresh outing's original debut at 8pm ET/PT, the schedule still works for those who aren't staying up all night for its premiere.
For context, the main Yellowstone show aired on Paramount Network throughout its five-season run. It dropped new episodes every Sunday night at 8pm ET, which is currently the timeslot of Marshals on CBS. In any case, for those who want to catch up on Dutton Ranch but don't want to pay for a Paramount+ subscription, checking it out on Paramount Network is a good free alternative. If the timeslot doesn't work with people's schedule, they could always record it to watch at a later time, perhaps during the weekend.
What's Next In Dutton Ranch
Emerson Miller / ©Paramount+ / Courtesy Everett CollectionSo far, Dutton Ranch has released five out of its nine episodes for season 1. The first half of the Yellowstone series focused on establishing Beth and Rip's new life in Texas, where they no longer have the influence that they had in Montana. New characters were introduced — some of them are poised to make their lives either easier or harder. As Dutton Ranch enters the final half of its debut year, expect that Beth and Rip will be more ingrained in this new world, especially as they start to actively establish a relationship with 10 Petal.
Taylor Sheridan Officially Has The Last Laugh Over Kevin Costner After Yellowstone Feud
A couple of years removed from their falling out, Taylor Sheridan has the last laugh over Kevin Costner thanks to a new era of Yellowstone.
Dutton Ranch episode 5 ended with a clear comeback plan for the couple on the heels of the crippling of their cattle ranch. Annette Bening's Beulah Jackson is also making sure that she's protected in this risky partnership, so expect that she and Beth will spend more time together moving forward. How that sets up the finale is something to look forward to. With four more episodes to go before Dutton Ranch season 1 wraps up, people still have time to catch up before the finale, and Paramount Network is a great avenue to do that.
