Taylor Sheridan's hit spy thriller series continues to show why it is one of the creator's most beloved series, as the project just hit a significant milestone on digital. Sheridan's list of TV shows is quite long. The prolific creative is involved with wildly different shows on different levels, as Sheridan serves as creator, producer, writer, and director of many successful series. That includes both his crown jewel, the Yellowstone TV show universe, and the rest of Sheridan's series, which may be Westerns or not. One of the other genres that Sheridan has explored over the years is the spy thriller genre.

That is one that has become quite popular on streaming. Apple TV's Slow Horses, Netflix's The Night Agent, Prime Video's Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, and more TV shows released in the last few years have shown how spy thrillers can make for excellent multi-season series. Sheridan tapped into that for Lioness and its star-studded cast. The Paramount+ hit series features names like Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman, and many more. Now, only two weeks since Lioness season 3 came to an end, the spy thriller series has hit another major milestone on digital to go with its streaming success.

Sheridan's Lioness Refuses To Back Down On Amazon

According to data from FlixPatrol, Lioness has passed the mark of 60 days trending on the Amazon VOD Top 20 TV Shows chart in the United States. The Paramount+ spy thriller series is currently trending at 61 days on the chart, over two months of success on digital nationwide. Lioness is also not slowing down, as instead of losing positions on the list, Sheridan's hit series is actually climbing Amazon VOD's chart. The show just went up one spot, with Lioness currently the 8th most popular series on Amazon VOD in the US. It has left behind many recognizable TV shows.

Among the titles surpassed by Lioness are the new supernatural hit Coven Academy, Netflix's revival Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, the crime series The Mentalist, the fellow Sheridan series Landman, the MGM+ horror sensation From, and many more. At the time of writing, the most-watched TV show on Amazon VOD in the United States is Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story. Lioness season 3 debuted on Paramount+ on August 2. Like the previous seasons of the spy thriller series, all eight episodes of Lioness season 3 were penned by Sheridan. Lioness season 3's finale was released on Paramount+ on September 20.

Sheridan Has A Lot On The Way, Including A Potential Season 4

Sheridan remains incredibly busy even after the end of the show's latest season. Among his upcoming projects are the creator's theatrical return, F.A.S.T., which stars 1923's Brandon Sklenar. Besides the action thriller, Sheridan is also set to write Paramount's Call of Duty movie. On the small screen, Sheridan has upcoming seasons for shows like Landman, Marshals, Dutton Ranch, The Madison, Mayor of Kingstown, and Tulsa King. A spin-off of the latter, Frisco King, created by Sheridan, is also on the way. It remains to be seen whether Lioness season 4 will be added to Sheridan's packed slate.
