Taylor Russell was a good sport after a reporter mistook her for Rihanna outside the Dior Haute Couture show at Paris Fashion Week.
Rihanna Has 5-Word Response After Security Guard Lets Door Close on Her
Taylor Russell isn’t breakin’ any dishes over being mistaken for Rihanna.
After a reporter mistook the Bones and All actress for the “Diamonds” hitmaker outside the Dior Paris Fashion Week show Jan. 26, Taylor had a perfectly unbothered response.
“That’s Taylor f--king Russell,” someone said behind the camera of the fan-captured video posted to X Jan. 26, before Taylor chimed in, adding, “I’m just her little mini-me.”
But that’s not to say she wasn’t ready for Rihanna’s arrival. To conclude the light-hearted interaction, Taylor—who previously dated Harry Styles—continued, “Yeah, I’m excited to see her.”
For the occasion, the Mother Couch actress wore an embroidered white dress that featured a high-neck detail and dramatic hip drapes. To accessorize, Taylor, 31, rocked a pair of black pointy pumps. Meanwhile, she wore her hair in a sophisticated up-do.
And we can’t really blame the journalist for the mix-up. After all, Rihanna—who shares kids RZA, 3, Riot, 2, and Rocky, 4 months, with A$AP Rocky—previously revealed that she’d want the Canadian actress to play her in a future biopic.
"Because she's got a nice forehead and she's fly and I feel like I want to be her,” the 37-year-old told E! News last June, “so I want her to pretend to be me."
"I want people to see me in that light," Rihanna emphasized. "Just gorgeous, she's stunning."

While Taylor had the perfect response to being mistaken for the Grammy winner, Riri recently made headlines for her reaction after a member of her security team failed to hold a door open for her while exiting a hotel, letting it hit the “Work” singer.
In response, the Fenty Beauty mogul—sporting a polo shirt, black fitted pants, and white pumps—shared a subtle clapback with the bodyguard. As she joked in the Jan. 17 video shared to X, “Such a gentleman you are.”
But Taylor and Riri aren’t the only celebs certain to debut jaw-dropping looks at Paris Fashion Week 2026. To see more front-row style from the stars, read on…
