Tanya Hennessy has admitted she struggled with guilt after finally falling pregnant, fearing her long-time followers battling infertility would be taken aback by her happy news.
After seven years, several rounds of IVF and spending more than $120,000 trying to become a mother, the 40-year-old thought announcing her long-awaited pregnancy would be one of the happiest moments of her life.
Instead, she revealed she was overcome with guilt.
Speaking candidly about her fertility journey, Tanya revealed she agonised over how to tell the online community that had followed her battle to conceive.
It took the Sydney-based presenter years to fall pregnant with daughter Scottie Jack Poole, whom she welcomed last year.
'How am I going to tell my community this?' she told Nine, reflecting on the decision to tell her online community.

The announcement eventually came in the form of just eight words posted for her almost 300,000 Instagram followers: 'We finally have a baby on the way.'
But behind the scenes, Tanya admits the moment was far more complicated than it appeared.
The TV personality has long been open about her fertility struggles, documenting years of IVF treatments and the emotional toll of living with endometriosis, a chronic condition that can affect fertility.
Reflecting on what she shared publicly, she admitted there was far more happening behind closed doors.
'The thing is, I've shared a lot, but nothing compared to what I actually went through.'
She admitted that becoming pregnant was the culmination of years of relentless determination.
'All of the needles, the injections, the advocacy, all of the acupuncture... I did kinesiology and vision boards for babies and manifesting. I was thanking the universe, I wrapped the baby blanket under the Christmas tree... you name it, I did it,' she said.
Finally, seeing two lines come up on a pregnancy test was the dream she 'worked so f***ing hard for'.

While she was 'obviously stoked' when her seventh round of IVF finally worked, she said she also understood how painful pregnancy announcements can be for others battling infertility.
'Half of the thing about being stuck in the fertility trenches is that you see everyone post their bump, and you want to have that,' she explained.
'Every time I see someone be like "I'm struggling", my heart hurts so bad because I know. I know that pain. I think of how many baby showers I didn't go to, how many Christenings I didn't go to. I cried.'
Even after welcoming her daughter last year, Tanya admits the emotional scars remain.
'The wound is still there. It doesn't go away because she's here – that's a trauma,' she said.
In December, Tanya welcomed her first child with husband Thomas Poole.
The beloved comedian took to Instagram on Christmas evening to share two images of the couple beaming as they cradled their adorable daughter.
'Our beautiful baby girl is finally here,' she wrote beside the images, before revealing the couple named their bundle of joy, Scotland Poole.
'I'm in heaven, my heart is exploding. My baby is here. She's everything. I've never been so blissfully happy in my life,' she wrote.
In 2022, Tanya opened up about her struggles with having a baby.
'Getting pregnant is a f***ing full-time job and I am at my wits' end,' she told her social media followers.
