Sydney Sweeney is set to star opposite of Off Campus actor Belmont Cameli in Sony's forthcoming adaptation of Sleepy Hollow.
The film is slated to be a seductive, supernatural mystery involving a love triangle between the 29-year-old actress, Cameli and another actor still to be casted, Deadline reported on Thursday.
The project will be based on filmmaker Lindsey Anderson Beer's upcoming debut novel.
Beer will also be directing in addition to adapting her novel, which will be published in fall 2027.
This comes as the Euphoria star has been embroiled in seemingly endless controversies in the past year, with the latest being a sports betting ad in which she posed nude and drew the ire of many stars.
The film is set to be produced by Margot Robbie's production company LuckyChap, Sweeney's new Honey Trap banner as well as Beer and her Lab Brew banner.

Per the outlet, Beer's upcoming novel will be a reimagining of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and told through the perspective of Katrina Van Tassel, who will be played by Sweeney.
Cameli will portray Brom Bones.
Beer set out to reframe the iconic heroine as the central figure in the mystery as well as the supernatural love triangle.
Producers are reportedly still looking for the other actor to play the part of Ichabod Crane in the love triangle with Sweeney.
The casting comes as Sweeney continues coasting through a string of continuous controversies.
Most recently, she stirred up backlash for posing nude in a sports betting ad.
Some female athletes criticized her, alleging that she has set women's sports back years.
Sweeney's Euphoria costar and fellow blonde bombshell Sharon Stone also made a brutal dig on her betting ad.

It also comes as their romance continues heating up.
Reports note the pair, who share a 16-year age-gap, are 'very serious' just one year into their relationship following their respective breakups with longtime partners.
'They're very serious. Sydney's spending time with his kids and that's a big deal. Scooter's very careful about who he brings around them,' a source told People earlier this month.
Sweeney has been romantically linked to Braun since September 2025 following her split from longtime fiancé Jonathan Davino.
