Sydney Sweeney holds hands with Scooter Braun… after she described what she wants in a man

Sydney Sweeney looked loved-up as she linked arms with boyfriend Scooter Braun during a cozy date on Sunday.

The 28-year-old actress glowed beside the music mogul, 44, as the couple enjoyed a sun-soaked walk through the upscale Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Just days earlier, she laid out exactly what she wants in a man.

'Athletic and outgoing and funny,' she told Cosmopolitan, explaining that her ideal man needs to keep up with her adventurous streak.

She also made it clear that family matters, saying her ideal man is 'someone who loves their family.' 

It appeared Braun - whose feud with Taylor Swift has recently shown signs of cooling - was ticking all her boxes as Sweeney looked in high spirits throughout the outing. 

The actress, who broke up with Jonathan Davino, 41, in 2025 after seven years, cut a casually chic figure in a simple white T-shirt and classic blue jeans, staying close to her Hollywood power-player beau as they strolled along.

At times, the pair held hands before later linking arms, signaling just how comfortable they were in each other’s company.

Braun kept things low-key in a simple shirt and khaki shorts, carrying a grocery bag as they walked - a subtle nod to the couple’s laid-back, domestic-style bliss.

Braun and Sweeney were first seen together over the summer, mingling at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s Venice wedding. 

By November, Sweeney was reportedly spotted getting into a car with her former partner Davino, after dining with friends in Santa Monica, where sources claim she shouted at him, 'I don’t believe you. Please leave, leave me alone.'

During her Cosmo interview, Sweeney reflected on her decision to keep the glare of public scrutiny off her longtime romance with Davino, whom she became engaged to in March 2022 nearly three years before their split.

'I was in a relationship for a very long time, for seven and a half years, and I never talked about it. I was very private. No one would ever see us,' she said.

'I think it’s important to have some things for myself. I understand that I’m a public person, but I’m still in my 20s. I’m still figuring out love, and it’s hard to do that with millions of people who have their own opinions of what that looks like.'

She recalled: 'At the same time, for all of my 20s, I put my head down and focused on work - and now I want to experience things. But it’s hard deciding that I want to experience love in the public eye. I’m just navigating it all.'

The revelation came after a source claimed Braun was 'furious' when he learned about Sweeney's encounter with Davino in November, via The Sun.

An insider has also stated Braun has grown 'frustrated' over the soccer players sliding into Sweeney's DMs on Instagram in a manner he regards as 'incredibly disrespectful,' despite the fact she 'ignores them and blocks the sender.'

The insider shared: 'Sydney has always been fiercely independent', the source explained. She values time alone - whether that’s travelling by herself, going out with girlfriends, or just switching off.'

Meanwhile her boyfriend 'prefers togetherness, and he’s still adjusting to that,' said the source, while noting Sweeney was 'completely transparent' with him.

'She shows him everything to be honest. Seeing how relentless some of these men are can upset him - but she always reassures him.'
