Sydney Sweeney, 29, and Scooter Braun, 45, look smitten on The Housemaid 2 set after scene with hunky costar

Sydney Sweeney and her boyfriend Scooter Braun put on a loved-up display when they reunited on the set of her upcoming movie, The Housemaid's Secret, on Thursday.

Sweeney, 29, beamed as she looked affectionately into the 45-year-old former talent manager's eyes.

Braun had dropped by the set in Hoboken, New Jersey, on the same day that Sweeney filmed opposite her new costar Stephen Kalyn, and a day after she had filmed a passionate scene with another hunky costar, Michele Morrone.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Sweeney and Braun's representatives for comment but has not yet received a response.

The Euphoria star was dressed casually in her downtime with a black sweatshirt that contrasted with her long blond curls, which cascaded down her shoulders.

Braun looked rugged in a brown canvas barn jacket, which he wore with the collar popped up for an extra-casual touch, along with a red baseball cap.

The two appeared to catch up in a coffee shop that Sweeney had been filming in front of, and Braun shared a quick handshake with a man sitting down next to them.

In her scenes on Thursday, the actress appeared out on the street near the shop.

Her costume consisted of a gray–blue sweater that was rolled down off her shoulders, revealing her bra straps.

It was paired with relaxed-fit jeans, and the blond beauty also carried a brown leather jacket.

Sweeney and Kalyn were surrounded by crew members as they filmed a conversation on the sidewalk in front of a row of brownstones.

Her costar was dressed in a thin purple cable knit sweater and a pair of striking burgundy trousers, and he was outfitted with a luxury wristwatch.

Sweeney starred in The Housemaid (2025) as Millie Calloway, a woman who takes on a job as a live-in maid for a family after serving ten years in prison. 

However, she soon discovers a sinister dynamic between Nina (Amanda Seyfried) and her husband Andrew (Brandon Sklenar).

The thriller, which was directed by Paul Feig, was well reviewed by critics and proved to be a box-office smash after grossing over $400 million against a relatively modest budget of $35 million. 

According to the logline for The Housemaid's Secret, the sequel finds Millie becoming 'a housekeeper for a woman she must never see until she discovers what's behind the locked door, revealing secrets darker than her own.'

In addition to Kalyn, the film features new additions Kirsten Dunst, Brittany Snow and Paul Anthony Kelly.

On Wednesday, Sweeney was pictured filming a scene with her returning costar Michele Morrone, who played Enzo, the gardener of the troubled couple she worked for straight out of prison.

Morrone, who wore a weathered brown leather jacket, appeared to be having an intense conversation with Sweeney that included a tender kiss on her forehead.

It was previously reported that The Housemaid's Secret will hit theaters in 2027.

During a recent conversation with People, Sweeney gushed that she 'would love to [reprise the role].'

'I was such a huge fan of the books, so I would be just as happy as everyone else being able to see more Housemaids come to life and getting to explore more of Millie,' she said.

To describe her character, the actress added: 'She's spicy. She is a fighter. She knows what she believes in, and she stands up for it.

'I love characters like that. I love seeing movies that have just fully embraced female rage,' Sweeney said.

Her boyfriend's set visit comes after it was reported earlier this month that she is allegedly considering making a religious conversion as their relationship gets more serious.

Sweeney has lately been exploring a conversion to Braun's religion, Judaism, a source told Page Six, after Deuxmoi first reported that she was allegedly considering changing her faith.

According to the source, the Euphoria star – who recently made a subtle nod to her boyfriend in a series of racy selfies – began considering converting after she and the 45-year-old former talent manager talked about the possibility of having children together.

'The couple is discussing having their own family, and Scooter feels strongly on the subject,' they claimed.

Braun already shares three children with his ex-wife, Yael Cohen, whom he was married to from 2014 to 2022. 

The publication previously reported that Sweeney had been spotted attending Rosh Hashanah services with Braun at Temple Sholom in Greenwich, Connecticut. 

'They sat in the back,' an alleged witness said.

According to Page Six, a source said Sweeney had already met with two rabbis to explore her possible conversion.

Conversion to Judaism can take up to two years for Reform Judaism, while converting to Conservative or Orthodox Judaism typically takes longer, with the process stretching out as much as three years for the former denomination and up to five years for the latter.

Converts are also required to have a rabbi who sponsors them throughout the process.

Sources had previously claimed to Page Six that Braun was considering proposing to Sweeney.

'He is trying very hard to marry her,' a source claimed in mid-September. 'He is following her and chartering private planes. He’s going to stay focused on her until she marries him.'

Interestingly, they added that Braun allegedly considers his girlfriend 'the modern Marilyn Monroe.'

The blonde bombshell had converted to Judaism after marrying playwright Arthur Miller, her third husband, in 1956.
