Susanna Reid takes a cheeky swipe at Cat Deeley's unusual This Morning outfit live on air

Cat Deeley's heatwave outfit was not a hit with her ITV co-star Susanna Reid.

This Morning star Cat, 49, looked stunning in an off-the-shoulder Marks & Spencer blue floral dress for Tuesday's show as temperatures remain at a sweltering high in London.

And Good Morning Britain star Susanna, 55, made a cheeky quip about the skin-flashing number live on TV.

Susanna was crossing over to This Morning's Cat and Ben Shephard in a live link, asking them what was coming up on their show.  

The This Morning hosts could be seen eating ice creams on the blue sofa, telling Susanna and her co-host Ed Balls they were enjoying the cold snack because it is 'so hot outside'.

Noticing Cat's dress, Susanna then said: 'It's so hot, Cat's dress is falling off!'

Ben quickly joked: 'Yes, it's supposed to be,' before Cat clarified: 'It's a one shoulder number.'

Continuing with the link, Ben said: 'Shall we tell you what's coming up? We're going to be finding out about the viral ice cream makers that you can get. Are they worth the hype? This one certainly is.'

Cat added: 'Also, staying with the heat. How do you stop yourself becoming a sweaty mess in the hot weather. A one shoulder helps me! Dr Zoe has the sweat solutions you need.'

Last week another cheeky fashion quip had Ben and Cat in hysterical laughter live on the show.

Fashion guru Jo Good left the co-presenters in stitches with her sexual innuendos during a link, resulting in Cat dropping to her knees as she tried to gather herself.

Jo was modelling a clear plastic poncho and as she linked to her upcoming segment, she said: 'It's wet and warm and I'm in a sheath!'

As Cat fell down to the floor in a pool of laughter, Ben could be seen looking red-faced over the sexual quip as he tried to compose himself.

Cat then continued the tone of the conversation and asked Jo if she's going to get her pussybow out, to which Jo said she'll get her pussybow out for Ben. 

He then quipped 'as long as you wear your sheath!', with Cat adding: 'Safety first!'
