Susanna Reid defiantly declared 'you're never too old to wear a swimsuit' as she reflected on her fun-filled week of clubbing in Ibiza on Thursday.

The Good Morning Britain presenter, 55, spent her holiday partying at Ushuaïa, Cafe Mambo and O Beach.

During her trip, Susanna slipped into a sexy one-piece which she wore with a pair of denim shorts.

The tee-total TV star reflected on her trip on Instagram as she shared a slew of snaps with the caption: 'IBIZA! Away from home, this is my favourite place on earth.

'Been coming every year for more than a decade, and just found out it was the destination for mum and dad's first foreign holiday together back in 1959.

'The connection must be strong! It is beautiful - the people, the weather, the landscape, the food and of course the clubs.

'Don't let anyone tell you that you are too old, that you shouldn't wear the swimsuit - or the shorts!!! Thank you Ibiza - see you next year'.

Susanna shared an unlikely campaign for Good Morning Britain to be awarded Best Daytime show, after it was shortlisted for a National Television Award.

The host took the opportunity to ask viewers to vote for her breakfast show while wearing a black swimsuit at O Beach club last week.

In her 50s, Susanna has swapped intense weightlifting sessions and long runs for an achievable routine that helps her stay consistent, as well as following a simple, pescatarian diet plan that has largely remained unchanged since 2017.

The ITV broadcaster detailed the low-maintenance regime she follows in an interview with Woman & Home last month, explaining: 'I don’t want to criticise myself, I don’t want to beat myself up – I don’t think women should.'

Instead of spending hours on an elliptical bike or going to Zumba classes, Susanna has found that walking two miles a day helps her keep fit despite the early call times and pressures of her GMB job.

She also completes a ten-minute YouTube workout 'before I get in the shower'.

Susanna, who wakes up at 3.35am, said her exercise routine has changed considerably over the years, admitting she doesn't 'have the energy' for strenuous workouts at the gym or long runs any more.

'I used to go to the gym and run a lot. I would run marathons, 10ks and Park Runs, but I don’t do that anymore, so I have to keep my body moving,' she explained.

'I am quite disciplined about that, but it is not three gym sessions a week.'

The mother-of-three also prioritises getting a 'decent chunk of sleep' and uses the trendy Oura fitness tracker to hit her seven-hour goal, including a daily nap between midday and 2pm.

Susanna, who gave up drinking nearly eight years ago, previously told Asda Good Living that she typically starts her day with black coffee and apples with peanut butter, but eats a second breakfast after filming Good Morning Britain.

'My second breakfast is always rye toast, poached eggs and avocado,' she said in 2025. 'Once I’m off air, I’m ravenous!'

The glamorous journalist follows a pescatarian diet, meaning she avoids all meat products except fish. She was a vegetarian until she fell pregnant with her first child, son Sam, with ex-partner Dominic Cotton.
