The new Superman is here.
On Monday morning a first look at actor David Corenswet as Superman from DC Studios was shared in a quick shimmering clip.
He was seen looking up as he wore his tight blue suit with a red S stamped on front. Behind him were a rainbow of colors. The tag line is, 'Look up.'
This is the very first official look at David as the hero who has been played before by Christopher Reeve and Henry Cavill.
Fans went wild for the first look as they commented on the visuals.
The movie from director James Gunn will debut on July 11, 2025.

'I'm literally crying. Is that a taste of @johnmurphycomposer score? If it is, I'm gonna be a wreck,' it was shared.
'Rad. Can’t wait. And I love the tag line, I used to look up a lot but have noticed that hasn’t been the case lately, so this is a good reminder to look up again,' a fan noted.
'This makes me feel seven years old,' said another in a sweet post.
'YESSSSSSS!!! DAVID IS OUR SUPERMAN! LETS GOO,' it was remarked.
Christopher Reeve was one of the most famous Supermans
'The hero we need right now,' said a follower.
James also tweeted that the film’s first teaser trailer will be released on Thursday.
Also featured in the film are Rachel Brosnahan, who is starring as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult, who is playing Lex Luthor, Nathan Fillon, who is playing Guy Gardner, Isabela Mercad, who is playing Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi, who is playing Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan, who is playing Metamorpho, and Skyler Gisondo, who is playing Jimmy Olsen.
Filming began in February and wrapped in July, after filming in Ohio and Atlanta.
David honored Reeve in September by attending the premiere of Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story in NYC.
He was seen posing with the children of Reeve - the first actor to play Superman in a big-budget theatrical feature in 1978's Superman - at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
Reeve's children - Matthew, Alexandra and Will - appear alongside stars like Susan Sarandon and Glenn Close.
Corenswet was also joined on the red carpet by Gunn and Gunn's DC Studios co-chairman Peter Safran.

Corenswet joins a long line of actors who have played the Man of Steel on the big screen, dating back to a 1948 movie serial starring Kirk Alyn.
George Reeves starred in the first Superman feature film in 1951, but Christopher Reeve played the first true big-screen/major studio Man of Steel in 1978's Superman.
Reeve's life was turned upside down in 1995 when he was paralyzed from the neck down following an equestrian accident.
He slipped into a coma and died less than a day later in October 2004 at just 52 years of age.
Since then, Brandon Routh has played Superman in 2006's Superman Returns and Henry Cavil in 2013's Man of Steel, 2016's Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and 2017's Justice League.
Corenswet becomes the next part of Superman's big-screen legacy when his new film debuts on July 11, 2025.
Unlike most Superman films, this will eschew the traditional 'origin story' and focusing on the character in his mid-20s.
The film will kick off Gunn and Safran's new DC franchise, followed by Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, set for release on June 26, 2026.
