Super Bowled over! Orlando Bloom, 49, takes bikini model, 28, to game... as Google boss, 70, 'dates German aged 27'

When Orlando Bloom took a model 21 years his junior to the Super Bowl, he might have expected to have cornered the market in attracting young love.

But it turns out the 49-year-old actor has a rival in the age-gap romance stakes – 70-year-old former Google boss Eric Schmidt.

The tech executive has been linked with Gloria-Sophie Burkandt, the daughter of Bavaria’s minister-president, who at 27 is 43 years younger than the billionaire.

Nine months after Bloom’s split from singer Katy Perry – currently with former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau – it appears The Lord Of The Rings actor has found a new squeeze.

He was spotted with Luisa Laemmel after Sunday’s Super Bowl – with Bloom seemingly trying to keep a low profile.

He exited the NFL game wearing a black baseball cap while arm-in-arm with Ms Laemmel, 28. One onlooker said they were ‘touchy-feely’ as they enjoyed a date night at the Levi’s Stadium in California.

Ms Laemmel, who is Swiss but lives in New York and models for the likes of Calvin Klein, posted the event on her Instagram site with pictures of herself in baggy white jeans and a tan jacket.

Inside the stadium, they partied with Bloom’s A-list friends, including the actor Jamie Foxx.

Meanwhile, Germany’s biggest newspaper Bild has linked Schmidt to Ms Burkandt after the pair were spotted together at the World Economic Forum’s high-profile global event at Davos in Switzerland last month.

Their rumoured romance has drawn attention on both sides of the Atlantic – Mr Schmidt being 12 years older than Ms Burkandt’s politician father Markus Soder.
