Stunning Farmer Wants a Wife star Miranda Chopping unrecognisable in old modelling photos - after viewers declared she's better suited to MAFS

Miranda Chopping has been making waves on Farmer Wants a Wife as she vies to win the heart of Adelaide apple farmer Zac. 

The glamorous real estate agent from Queensland has ruffled feathers with her bold, confident energy and tendency to ruthlessly stir the pot - which has also got some viewers offside. 

But the 21-year-old looked very different in her teen modelling days, with an old Instagram account documenting her time as a natural-looking blonde. 

In the images, unearthed by gossip website Chattr, Miranda sported light hair and less-pouty lips than she has flaunted on the reality dating show this season. 

The brunette told Chattr that she ditched modelling to focus on swimming, but is now hoping for a career as an influencer, currently boasting 12.6K followers on Instagram. 

'I've spent a lot of time building it over time. I do a lot of travelling, I like to dress up and go out and take photos,' she told the website. 

'I think I just like posting so that the following kind of just comes along with it,' Miranda continued.

'It's not something I did for a purpose, it's kind of just grown with everything that I've done, but I do love getting dressed up and taking photos of myself.' 

Miranda has certainly commanded attention since appearing on Farmer Wants a Wife.

She came to the show to win, but many viewers have been turned off by her ballsy attitude and enhanced looks. 

Several on social media have pointed out that Miranda would be better suited to a show like Married At First Sight or Love Island. 

'Miranda is 21, and displaying a high school mean girl personality. Working in real estate, I'd hate to have her managing my home,' wrote one person on X. 

Another said: 'Did Miranda not get cast on MAFS or Love Island? Not the vibe for Farmer Wants a Wife. You're 21, just chill.'

'Hey, Miranda. You are not on MAFS,' commented someone else. 

Over on Instagram, one viewer chimed in: 'Producers chose her for entertainment purposes!'

'MAFS vibes. Gia 2.0,' wrote someone else, referring to Married At First Sight 2026 bride, and resident villain, Gia Fleur.

'Not genuine,' said one person, while another viewer wrote: 'Definitely not your girl, she belongs in the city.'

Others were taken with the confident stunner, with one person commenting: 'Go Miranda! Can't wait to watch you find love.'

Meanwhile, Miranda has left Farmer Zac, 24, flustered, and he has admitted that her good looks are intimidating. 

'I've never gone for someone like Miranda. I'm definitely punching above my weight!' Zac said as he quivered through their first meeting. 

Their romance is rolling full steam ahead, however, as Zac picked Miranda for a solo date after they bonded at the Country Ball during Monday's episode.
