Capcom didn't announce a release date for Tifa in Street Fighter 6, but the rest of the pass lineup includes:
Square Enix is no stranger to loaning out its stable of characters to fighting games. Noctis, Final Fantasy 15's royal silver fox, turned up in Tekken 7 in 2018, and Final Fantasy 16's Clive Rosfield joined the Tekken 8 roster in 2025. Despite Tekken heads clamoring for Tifa and not Clive, player data showed the traumatized lordling was the most popular guest character in Tekken 8, and far more people picked him up than they did Noctis in Tekken 7.
Near the end of 2025, Capcom announced Street Fighter 6 passed a major milestone, having sold more than 6 million copies in its three years on the market. For reference, Street Fighter 5 sold just over 7 million copies between its launch in 2016 and the last time Capcom updated its sales data in 2023. That's a lot of Street Fighter, and Capcom's riding the popularity wave with an Easter-egg filled movie adaptation set for theatrical release in October.
